General & Others Does Yonko overestimate themselves because no one attacked them for many years?

They are Emperors, they are at top of one piece verse, they know they are very crazy powerful inviduals, only one that can Match them and push high diff or extreme are either other Yonkos and Admirals (+Fleet Admiral) so they are in top 10,
Now image you live in OP verse and have power like them, what would You think about yourself? You would know that you are among strongest People out there and your equal or who are close to you are other Yonkos and Admirals, and Milhawk, you are Emperor who have powerful army on your back, you have big amount of Islands in most dangerous sea under your control,
Dumb, too cocky or who very seriosly Dont realise power you wield, new Pirates(rookies) can attack you but in many many cases your crew can deal with them no need to ever show your face to them, and if you show face you are for sure to Win in 1v1, for decades you are undefeated ofc you would belive and for right you can take down any new pirate who dare to provoke you

They don't. It was stated by law that the only way to survive in the new world was to either ally with other pirates to challenge them or to be under them.
So they probably had a few fights against pirates alliances and crushed them all. We learned in wci that a few pirates from the Worst Gen went to WCI and they couldn't even pass YC3 and never had the opportunity to see big mom herself.
We have to understand that yonko and admirals strenght are really rare, you only have a few of them each generation.

This is speculation with regards to Kaido, but him and Big Mom haven’t had to work for their strength they’ve been born with it. When everything is handed to you on a silver plate you get lazy and complacent. Big Mom doesn’t even have future sight... she instead relies on alliances and such to bolster her strength.
It's really hard to blame them for being so confident against the Supernovas.
The Yonkos have been on the top of the pirate chain for decades in Kaido, Big Mom and Whitebeard's cases and they have become the undisputed rulers of the New World by crushing all the pirate crews that dared to challenge and attack them for a very long time, most of them being crushed effortlessly without even getting to reach the Yonko.
