Well Yamato is debatable but the main attribute of CoC Coating is not making physical contact.. As well as Haki trails..

I don't think it matters what a vocal minority thinks about Zoro not using ACoC because it's a fact that he has it. It's like saying Luffy doesn't have G5 despite him showing/transforming into it.
