Character Discussion Does Zoro's progress make sense?

If any of the scabbards die, Luffy Zoro and Law are utter failures (at least Sanji saved Momo before he went full retard).
Luffy is slowly running up stairs and laughing with Jinbe rather than jetting to the top in one of several methods using his fruit and superior speed.
Zoro is messing around and dragged down his captain mid rocket rather than block Queen to give his captain the chance to go to the roof, now as a low mobility character he is wasting Marco's time.
Law is messing around with Poneglyphs which should be the reward post fight, not some sort of Zelda sidequest you can do while Ganondorf statically waits for you to arrive.
So much for the alliance. If the scabbards aren't dead this can be forgiven as PIS, if they are dead then this is ridiculous.

Wouldn't that by default make Perospero the leader of the crew then?
Also what's fanfiction? Me having Perospero be leader, or Katakuri being stronger than Perospero?

Streusen literally has one of the best awakened paramecia devil fruit feats, plus like, top 5 swordsman in the world scaled swordsmanship.
He used awakening to turn the castle into whipped cream and sponge cake so that not only the people in the castle on all levels would land safely on a soft surface, but also the people in the city below wouldn't be outright killed. He not only cut at such a large scale, he also cut with such finesse that it straightened out the top so that they could land more safely and without falling off.
Literally the only reason katakuri said calm down was because he knew Streusen would do that with his future sight (plus how capable streusen is). Homie, Streusen would have arguably been a rocks pirate as big mom's right hand man.
Meanwhile Smoothie has to literally drain people to pull off an even less impressive swordsmanship feat, and it drains her back to normal, rinse repeta:
And heck, Streusen did that with unsteady and tilted ground.
Sorry, but Perospero is just the best option for the captain position, while katakuri and the others were being small dick simp boys, Perospero came up to Big Mom and directed her rage at risk of his own. Perospero is the only one with the balls and intelligence to get shit done in the crew beyond let Luffy distract you for half the arc and then lose anyway.
