With that said, he'd better get the highest bounty before serving as hype tool.

Which is consitent of my take that if you need to be relevant in the very final arc against the FV (obvioulsy not talking about character that still growing/getting regular bounty updates) you need to have a sufficiant high bounty/PL
3 bio bros are regarded high now, they gonna be the jacks of the Final arc

I don't consider the Pirate King having the highest bounty of all time to be illogical, but I think it makes more sense if Dragon has or will surpass him.

He was the most wanted man when wb was alive. I think his bounty will be near his as he's the only real force that's trying to over throw the wg and not just being a pirate like a yonko.

Bounties never made logical sense and the timeskip outright removed any weight or meaning they once had.

Law, Kid, Crocodile... at least Robin finally gets an appropriate bounty for the existential threat she poses.
