I am not trolling. Pica is a garbage character, I agree but as you said he avoids direct confrontation and he is bloody good at it.
In Dressrosa, where he has all the stone he can ask for, his golem is something only few characters can deal with and even fewer can prevent him from escaping into the ground. Avoiding direct confrontation doesnt make his golem into garbage but into serious threat.

its not about who Pica can defeat. its about if Luffy can defeat him. Luffy has shown no way to trap Pica and corner him.
his Grizzly Magnum did not even obliterate the tiny head, it simply pushed it backwards.

maybe Pica would not come up as often if slow pokes would finally realize how haxed the Golem was.

King Kong Gun is hyped into the heavens and a single casual punch from the Pica golem did 10x the damage.

How will he escape that fast if there is a barrage of massive Elephant Guns destroying his golem? How exactly? A few hits could already destroy the abdomen - and as we have seen with noah, Luffy can spam his Elephant Guns really fast.
Did you just assume Kaido and Big Meme cannot perform the speed to kill Pica whilst they are seperating him from the golem?

You have to seperate him from the ground; as long as Luffy disconnects the golem from the ground, he can easily find the real Pica.
It is simply a pure stamina fight - Luffy could struggle to find and beat Pica but he will.
And he is right; King Punch has the AP to destroy the golem but he simply needs to charge his punch.
Hence he cannot throw these punches consecutively. At this time Pica already hided somewhere else and thus that King Punch won't be enough.

He was a tough guy by running away and hiding, otherwise Zoro would have already sliced this piece of crap into several pieces. Heck, Vergo would be much more fitting as Zoro's opponent but that's just my opinion.
Imo there's not much downplay. Sure, saying things like "Zoro just cut through stone" is a huge understatement since you cutting through megatons of stone, other characters should bring this power then we can talk. But there's also huge wank of his golem.
Recently, I've read that Katakuri doesn't have the AP/DC to destroy the golem. Do I understand it right? The man who can easily overpower G3 and can make his own, far bigger G3 with "portal arms" cannot destroy the golem? This is just ridiculous.

Grizzly Magnum > Red Hawk, and Pica's golem already endured Grizzly Magnum with 0 significant damage. I repeat, 0!!!!
