Break Week Dropped Plot Points

Franky building a weapon to hurt Kaido is also a big one.
In fairness, they didn't know jack shit about Kaido so that idea was kind of impossible. However ... his arsenal was absolutely no different from PH, even considering the idea that characters would add to their repertoire pretty normally across 30 or 40 volumes.

And speaking of Jack shit, there's really no reason that he wouldn't have been awakened. You might make the argument that King and Queen had powers that were incidental, but Jack was very reliant on being a Zoan.

And speaking of false awakening, Big Mom has three shitty fronts:

- her fight was rushed so that she quickly fell. No warrior's madness, no sword skills, no awakening, no shriek to sap her strength, no HAKI shading except for punching Page One, etc.

- her ship just got kicked by Marco and those characters never mattered again

- BB arrived at WCI and it caused less trouble than Law with his shitty little crew

Nami's weird weather prediction skill kind of went nowhere and is a little pointless anyway. She can also alter the weather now, especially with Zeus so it doesn't really matter what the weather will be.

All Blue seems pretty dead, nobody talks about it, nobody cares. Even Sanji fans don't care, all they want is for Sanji to get advanced armament and possibly a girlfriend.

Smoker being Luffy's main marine antagonist died a long time ago

Tashigi/Kuina + Zoro... it was sort of interesting pre-grand line, but given how terribly Oda has handled Zoro's bloodline and his role in Wano, I'm not even sure I want an answer to this.

Big ones (for now) that are not necessarily dropped but lack enough relevancy or explanation so far as to what their roles may be, especially after hundreds of chapters:

- Shiki? Scopper? Burned Man?

- Impel Down's escapees.

The Underworld post-Doflamingo (only 3 of 6 have been focused on)

I dont necessarily consider the punk hazard brokers important, but these ones actually do seem to be. 2 of 6 are actually relatively important but I hope Oda addresses the rest.

He made the right call, Film Red is better than Wano. I hope she is canon and alive
:doffycry:
Yeah Film Red is great.

Uta is the best character of the movie.
The Grim Reaper doesn't have to be addressed in Wano.. I mean look at Sanji's transformation plotline. Its still going. The Death part could be something that Oda setup to explain something later.
I mean I guess.

The Grim Reaper plotline could be explains in the Final War if Zoro fights against Sword Gorosei Nasujuro.
He never said that, but that's definitely what it feels like.
True yeah.

Oh and how Shanks stops Kaido from entering Marineford is also a good dropped plothole.

It could be:

- Booze/Vodka
- Wifi CoC (just like Ryokugyu)
- Shanks stripped and do a Oden dance, which brings back Oden PTSD which makes Kaido retrieved.
- Kaido knows that he can't win against Shanks and his crew by himself and King alone.
Etc.

How Shanks stopped Kaido will remain as one of the 7 Mysterious Wonders of One Piece.

One Piece wont have any mystery if Oda chose to progress his story according to plot....

I mean, Robin could had told us since Alabasata that poseidon was Gyojin island, but that only happened 400 chapters later. Rayleigh could had told us about FS, advanced hakis, but Oda choses to offscreen everything so it remains a mystery.

I was actually never excited for Chopper to cure the smiles.
It's Chopper's obsession with saving everyone that makes him such a annoying and uninteresting character.
Chopper believes that death is a useless thing, all lives are equally valuable, everyone deserves to be saved and he can solve anything with medicine.
These beliefs are bullshit. Death is a necessary evil and a unstoppable force of nature that people should not fight against.
Many of the characters Chopper saves are annoying and worthless idiots who do nothing but waste space, which is the proof that some lives are worthless and not everyone deserves to be saved.
In the world of pirates, there are countless things you have to fight to get. Chopper has no right to call himself a pirate when he refuses to fight for what he wants.
If Lolda really cared about developing Chopper as a character,he would write a plotline about Chopper being proven wrong about his beliefs, stopping being so obsessed with medicine, and starting to behave more like a real pirate.
For all of these reasons,Chopper's character development is a massive dropped plot point.
