Character Discussion Duval/Road parallels are insane

For 3 years I have said that Elbaf would parallel Sabaody. Now it is becoming true, but most are still coping. Even though Duval and Road are as similar as few other characters in One Piece. Here are some panels, that make it so obvious, that even Mister 4 and Weevil would get it.

Just look at them. Not just are both very ugly, they have hair covering an eye fully.

Their births were highlighted. Not just that, Road was born the same day as "Accursed Prince" Loki, and Gerd said is the real shame of Elbaf (not Loki). Baby Duval was called cursed in chapter 0.

Duval is very tall. Not quite a giant like Road, but also not far from it.

Both are kidnappers.

When the Strawhats ran into them, they wore thick masks.

They had a captive tied up. Chopper was glad to see Nami. Hatchan panicked over just the thought of it.

Both lust for Nami (but who doesn't?).

Both have underlings riding animal based bikes. Who else uses such things?

Both trapped Strawhats in an iron net.

Their grudges against the Strawhats were due to being associated with it. Road didn't want to be in the Grandfleet. Duval didn't want to be mistaken for Sanji. Ironically, the Strawhats had never heard of them. They were jokes, not villains, despite looking dangeorus at first.

I try to write longer pieces, but posting them here is like casting pearls before swine. Hopefully you can finally grasp it now!

A lot of words to say that both arcs start with a kidnapping subplot.
If it's a sabaody parallel, then we must have the most important events:

• Supernovas equivalent, aka we must reveal Luffy's peers. It means in Elbaf me must have multiple emperors or equivalent to Luffy
• Challenging of the Gods. Luffy must in some sort of way fight or directly challenge celestial dragons
• Massive Marine/WG show up.
• Complete Strawhat defeat.

Of these, only the first is somewhat probable with Loki and Shanks and maybe cross guild showing up.
The second is extremely remote, just like the third.
The fourth is mentally challenging impossible.

i think luffy will punch saint shanks over the barto situation. akainu will announce that the navy captured luffy's grandfleet captain and luffy will decide to go to new marineford. among other things.

sabaody was the prelude to marineford, elbaf is the prelude to the new marineford war
isntead of ace, barto and law will await execution

I do see some similarities, but not too many

I think Roads' character will focus on his emotional ugliness rather than physical like Duval

Both are kidnappers.

But for different ends. Duval seeks profit, Road seeks playthings for his god cosplay

Both have underlings riding animal based bikes. Who else uses such things?

Road didn't want to be in the Grandfleet. Duval didn't want to be mistaken for Sanji.

Road seems prejudice, thinkin no Giant should be under a human. Duval was just fed up with mistaken identity.

Personally, I'm comparing Road & Elba(ph)f more to Sugar & Dressrosa
