I use earrings, but I gonna stop using it when I reach certain age. I think its fine teenagers and young men use earring (dont look good in everyone...), but what I think strange is men above 40yo using it (in a very few cases it still cool)
I have never seen a single piercing that looked good so I definitely not think highly of it.
At first it was meant to be edgy and now it turned into a mislead fashion statement.
The only reason ear rings get a pass is because its unobtrusive. If you remove them you have a little hole in your ear. No one is watching your ears that closely and its also barely visible from the front.
A nose piercing on the other hand (except when it goes through the middle...) will leave a visible hole in your face.
Remember being 13 years old and my sister convinced me to get a stud, wore it for a year or so before I realised how dumb it looked. Even though the hole is closed up I can still feel the scar tissue. It's an imperfection I'm not happy with but it's something to play with when I'm deep in thought. Some people hold their chins or put their hand on their forehead, I squeeze my earlobe.
