I think the Gorosei will play a role and die in each arc rather than the final war. There are some major characters who are still a complete mystery and could be connected to the story like Kuma that no one would have thought of.
Egghead Arc revealed everything about Saturn, Bonney, Kuma, Vegapunk and Kizaru. There was nothing about the Straw Hats so it's safe to assume there will be others who will play a major role for the rest of the remaining arcs of the final saga. I can only think of some of my predictions;
Marcus Mar's arc will be about Urouge and Sky Island because he looks like a brother of Gan Fall and has an ability to transform into a "bird like" feature which sounds familiar. The twin like Gan also dresses up as a holy knight which showed a bit of foreshadowing that he may have been a former god knight and went through the same path as Homing and Mjosgard.
Transformation

Mars has an ability that allows him to transform into a giant bird-like creature, it also has a ring around it. In this form, he could withstand a point-blank blast of fire from Sabo without difficulty. It is unknown if this power is related to a Zoan-type Devil Fruit.[9

Seen to ride a giant "bird-like creature"
Nusjuro's arc will reveal everything about Zoro's mysterious backstory, Shimotsuki clan and Old Wano country. Ryuma’s flashback where they were both rivals, Zoro's family and the village ties with the Revolutionary army. Nusjuro looks like Koushirou so this could mean he is from the same clan as Zoro and will be his opponent.
Topman 'warrior god of justice' Warcury is a redemption arc for Akainu because they both hold the motto of absolute justice. We will see Akainu-Dragon flashbacks, what prompted him to behave like that then redeeming himself in the end which will lead to the end of the Navy "old guards" and Sword group taking over (Koby and Smoker leading the marines as admirals).
Imu's arc will reveal everything about Mihawk. Cross Guild will be heavily involved because of Mihawk and the theory of Buggy sitting on Imu's throne.
I don't know about Saint Peter.

) but i think in this arc we got to know them better,but the rest of them will be endgame material (and maybe Saturn too if he doesnt get defeated here).
