I have a controversial opinion: I think that the strawhats would have a lot of trouble if Zoro and Sanji switched roles. I think that both would be able to deal with their respective opponents, but things would play out a lot harder...

• Zoro wouldn't have the idea of imprisoning Kaku with the bubble gun, so he would've to fight against him. He would surely beat Kaku, but I don't think that it would be fast enough;
• Sanji would take longer to incapacitate Lucci IMO, as Zoro has greater lethal capacity;
• As Zoro would take his time to beat Kaku, both Vegapunk and Bonney would probably die early.

From there on, it would be a snowball effect.

Zori would have protected VP and join Xebec as admiral killer. Lizaru would be sent into early retirement if he survived, that’s why he faced Luffy instead with his healing punches protected from Zoro.

It was stated Zoro was leaking COC. If Zoro fought Saturn he will land and the regeneration ability's mystery ends there. So you can't put Zoro there.

Lucci fight will be the same, he won't land any attacks on Sanji either.

Oh No he’s landing attacks on Sanji , Sanjis going to be up close in personal even more so than Zoro clashing kicks etc. and it will be a High Diff Fight for damn sure. Zoro was able to avoid a lot of Lucci as stuff because of his swordsmanship , he had ranged attacks to keep distance and Lucci

Sanji manhandled a Seraphim on his own. S-Shark couldn't even hurt him with a freebie Karatate Fishman attack.

The hell is Lucci going to do against Sanji? Where is the evidence he has the AP to hurt Sanji? He doesn't even have the speed to keep up.



Setting aside it was Luffy's failure to cover Sanji that got Vegapunk killed in the first place:

Zoro's relative lack of speed, mobility and traverse would've ruled out running on his own, which would've been a terrible use of Zoro's skill set anyway, considering his defensive capability with his swords.

Zoro isn't built to run and protect the weak at the same time, but he is built to hold the line.

I think he and Luffy could've saved Vegapunk if they held the line together long enough for reinforcements to arrive - which it would if Sanji fought Lucci, cause he'd fuck him up in no time.

Queen was a Stationary Fighter with Durability and Endurance Hax Type, Lucci is a Speed based fighter with Endurance Hax. He’s not just going to let Sanji hit him.its just not the same fight. Not saying Sanji can’t win, but he has to be more surgical with his movements against Lucci.

Bro The Seraphim have Haki and so many other abilities , Sanji took a Punch that’s good for Him, but it doesn’t tell me he’s above S Shark or any of the Seraphim for that matter. They Take Damage at High level that’s their thing…..Oda put emphasis on knowing how their abilities worked for a reason.
@Rumble Are You Trolling? Rob Lucci is one of the best Hand to hand combat fighters in the series, of course he has Ranged Attacks, He’s a Master of the 6 Powers………. He has Advanced forms of Rankyaku , Paper Art, Tekkai, Shigan Etc…….
Also UNLIKE QUEEN Sanjis advantages against Lucci ARE VERY SLIGHT, This is a much harder battle than Queen bro….. idk why you trynna play this dude like Sanji one shots him or something, what are Sanjis feats against Fast Fighters, how many opponents like Lucci has he faced ? Vergo in Punk Hazzard is probably the closest thing and that wasn’t anything easy for Sanji at the time.

Still a High Diff Fight, I don’t see how Sanji could end this guy in Low or Mid Difficulty, An Awakened Zoan , Top Tier Martial Artist , Hand to Hand combat etc. Decent Haki enough to allow him to clash with Zoro’s Swords. Zoro Mid Diffed him if we’re being honest. This wasnt Pica hiding for an entire arc they were boxing for 20 Chapters, I don’t think it’s crazy to say Sanji High Diffs Him. You bringing up physical strength but Sanji is a surgical dude, very pin point , I know he has Ifrit Jambe now but Lucci got sliced up and was still standing…….

Reminder that Stella dying is a narrative requirement for the broadcast. If Zoro is in Stella guard duty, the scene of Stella asking to let him die will be shown beforehand (not later like Sanji's).

So when Stella died, it will be seen as Zoro honoring someone's wish, and won't be seen as failure to protect someone like what happened to Sanji.
