Speculations Elbaf expectation

The Norse mythology links to Elbaf made it the arc i look forward to read the most. Why would Oda introduce Elbaf's warriors as the strongest army in the world and leave them untouched ever since? Why is there a giant strawhat in Pangaea's chamber? The giants are the Jötunn and Im is Ymir, and Ymir/Gods will meet their demise by the giants.
What's better for Usopp than having the strongest army as the followers he always dreams about? Oda will implement some character development for Usopp in Elbaf by having him rally and mobilize the giants against the World Government, a narrative play that would into effect at the endgame. Oda could have hinted that when Usopp burned the World Government's flag. The giants will help the strawhats by crushing the SSG to clear path towards Mary Geoise.

Hajrudin and his crewmates, in particular Gerth, will be important allies in the arc.
The last of the Road Poneglyphs or its location on another island will be discovered, another secret about the Void Century will be revealed.
