Theory Elbaf Law will have Big Mom/Kaido tier durability

The above panels seem to indicate something:

1. Kaido and Big Mom are passively using immense amounts of haki on their bodies, negating certain DF abilities from affecting them
2. Law can use this technique as well, albeit it takes him a significant amount of effort, whereas Kaido and BM could do this casually

These pages seem to explain why Kaido and Big Mom are so uniquely durable and why it takes so much effort in order to be able to damage them. Why specifically they are weak to advanced haki. Because their durability itself is a product of advanced haki.

Since Law is now able to use a haki technique similar to them, I think by elbaf, when we are likely to have a big battle with the blackbeard pirates or the marines, Law's haki will have advanced to a level to where he can casually and effortlessly coat his full body with DF-negating haki. Basically, I think Law will acquire Kaido and BM's tier of durability via haki mastery.

Elbaf will likely be the arc where the 3 captain's bounties will surpass 5 billion. For Law to do this, he needs to have some form of advanced haki. The panels from last chapter show the direction Oda wants to take Law's haki development. Rather than have him master ryuo(which he could still have), Law will master full body coating.

Law 'can use' massive amount of haki to negate certain abilities.

there's a key difference

also their durability can from their special bodies which were only strengthened by Haki. For big mom it was her iron skin and probably the same for kaidou on top of his zoan toughness and dragon scales. Law has a regular monster body he can't be as durable as they were.

Big mom's was prevalent since she was a kid though haki is a likely explanation since it switched off when the mother caramel photo got broken.


am sure Roger could use haki to negate devil fruit abilities to a large extent
but am also pretty sure he didn't have abnormal durability .
Law is not getting as durable as kaido or big mom. They are very unique in that regard.

All yonko have some form of advanced haki. For Law to reach their level, so will he.

The form of haki development Oda decided to give Law wasn't ryuo, like Luffy and Zoro, but rather the ability to use full body haki to negate DF abilities. The same technique Kaido and Big Mom constantly use to up their durability. Which is why, for the most part, you need haki to hurt them.

So it only stands to reason that Law's advanced haki will be Kaido and Big Mom's constant full body CoA.

Big Mom's durability was 100% her haki. When her mental state was in shambles, she had normal human durability.

So if Law masters full body CoA to her level, he will have her durability.

Kaido and Big Mom are abnormalitie when it comes to abnormal physical stats, they get further enhanced by their innate haki, mythical zoan for Kaido and in BM's case potential lifespan absorption


Law is never going to reach that, he is no outlier unlike them.
