It's becoming increasingly clear that Elbaf will be a short preparation saga.

I think the fact that there is no defined villain proves it. Elbaf is not an island subjugated by a tyrant and Loki is clearly a good guy. Any candidate for a saga villain would have to travel to Elbaf and I think that's unlikely.

So everything points to Elbaf being an intermediate destination whose function will be to reveal the location of the fourth poneglyphic and form an alliance with the giants.

I also think that the end of One Piece will be a succession of small sagas, similar to Sabaondy-Amazon Lily-Impel Down-MarineFord, in this case Elbaf would be the equivalent of Sabaondy or Amazon Lily.

You know what I want?

A chill W7-like mini-arc in Elbaf, capped by a sudden and extreme tragedy.

A high-octane arc in the Sun World.

And connecting the two, something crazy like the water train bridge arc before Enies Lobby. Something absolutely new in structure to take us from boring Jarul to the villain(s) proper in the sky island(s) above.

It'd be the perfect time for a series-first naval assault among flying ships.

When Luffy, Zoro & Nami are shown together, it means They are leaving soon,
It wasn't just East Blue Saga that started with them, They also were shown similar to this Chapter in Whisky Peak planning to go to Arabasta, and again in Jaya planning to go to Skypiea and again in Water 7 planning to go to Enies Lobby ... etc

We literally had Narrator tell us "Don't stay too long in Elbaph" and Loki's Friend doesn't live on Elbaph, so it's obvious that They are gonna be leaving sooner than expected, not sure if all Crew though, i think some might stay, and we will continue to see Elbaph often

I also wanna point out something, if Loki said "Yes, please let me Join" Holy Knights aren't gonna take him to Mary Geoise on some Boat, They obviously can open a Portal for him, which might take you to an In-Between Place (Similar to recent God of War Fast Travel or Darksiders 3 that i recall off the top of my head)

So i expect some SHs to join in uninvited,
In other words, Elbaph is New Water 7, Mary Geoise is New Enies Lobby, Holy Knights are New CP-9, Loki is New Franky and those Magic Portals are New Sea Train

I was having doubts whether Elbaf turns into a battleground or not, due to huge potential with 3 large levels but you convinced me otherwise with this post. Should have been expected considering that it is a country where the common folk isn't enslaved or oppressed.
There will be trouble but it will not last too long.
