I've finally caught up with the anime. Finished egghead (phenomenal btw). And Elbaph just started. I've read one piece arcs before but I've taken a break, came back and watched from wano and now I'm finally caught up. Should I just stick to anime and watch the weekly episodes? Or should I go ahead and read the manga. Which do y'all think is more exciting? I've been getting kinda spoiled on reddit and X no matter how much I avoid it so I'm thinking of switching to manga. When the Anime got to Wano it started to exaggerate pretty much everything the manga does, even if the artstyle became consistently good. So as someone who is a manga purist, I vastly prefer the manga and generally dislike most things the anime does given all the flashy DBZ aura flare it tends to add.

Oda's art has always been consistently great, but suffered during the end of Wano and parts of Egghead. He got eye surgery during Egghead, so it got better by the end and all of Elbaph has great art.

Better watch anime, in manga you will hit a wall eventually, that wouldn't make a difference between watching the next episode in anime. Because of anime quality, I'm really thinking about dropping watching manga, especially if Elbaf's end will be peak. Instead of anime you can hit the wall with manga and wait new chapter with all breaks etc
