Elden Ring

I arrived at Radahn's festival...
I died 5 or 6 times befire even REACHING him in his arena. And the time I did reach him would've been better if I didn't...
Time to grind a bit more

Hmm I played it and improved immensely in a short period of time by learning how to counter the spear users, last thing I did was fight a horse riding boss (didn’t defeat him), then I forgot about the game lol
Exactly the phase i went through, I dropped it for a while then picked it up again and I fucking spent 200 hours within this single month. It's my 10th playthrough already

Once you reach later sword wielding bosses (Genichiro and up) and adapt to the deflect combat style, the combat becomes so damn smooth, and so so damn rhythmic and so damn fast, it becomes ridiculously replayable.

It has imho the best From, arguably of all time, combat mechanics once fully understood and utilized.

Been a whike since my last update:
I have arrived in Leyndell.
Getting there was a trial and a half. The Draconic Tree Sentinel gave me a run for my money I won't forget any time soon.
Leyndell is huge! I spent most of my first few runs running around trying to find graces (and running into ops I couldn't deal with lol)
I managed to reach Morgott (not beat him). I feel I should level up a bit more before tackling him in earnest. I'll either go around the Altus plateu or back to Caelid and try clearing out dungeons and catacombs

Clear altus and sewers and then go for morgott
Side note without spoiling anything if you reach a certain manner in atlus you can get the best weapon in the game.
What are you using currently?
Currently I'm using Radahn's twin blades mostly. That and Bloodhound's fang.

I turned off my PS a few hours ago but my stats are something like Vigor 37-38, Strength 37ish, Dex 34-35, Endurance maybe 28-29. The rest is probably as it was when I started lol

If you are going into the strength route i'd rebirth and take away the dex points and split it into vig and strength, would help a lot

Agreed, quality builds (souls terminology - quality builds are builds that are hybrid strength/dex) are underpowered in Elden Ring relative to pure dex/pure strength.

Your vigor is good for mid game but target 50+ once you get to the snowy areas after the capital (otherwise you will be getting 1-2 shot all the time).

Every play through i just get my vigor to 45ish first so im good for 90% of the game and then start doing my build

Thanks for the tips, gang.
Could I respec my character with the magician woman boss in Raya Lucaria Academy? (Her name is escaping me now, Moon Queen something)

For pve quality is dogshit in all games except ds2, you're always better off dumping everything in one stat and the rest to endurance mainly and vigor
