Because we actually give a shit about his character, something brainrot agenda whores/powerscalers can't understand.
He's based on the unluckiest pirate to ever exist and die a brutal death.
But Oda hates/doesnt care about him so much, he gave him an amazing backstory even it was in a SBS, showed actual serious nuance to his character in Wano especially, designed 30 crew members for him with names too only to get rid of him after letting him take down a Yonko?
Whilst Oda is repeating the same formulas of his story ad nasueum post TS and thus doing HEAVY parallels with the Sabaody incident for the SHs with Law and Kidd too? He even admitted Kidd was MEANT to be FAR MORE important in the story like Law was, he expected Kidd to be the important one. The signs were there from PUNK Hazard ffs.
Also him, Luffy and Law being shown working together multiple times and Kidd wanting to kill Shanks too.
I feel like I need to do a Will Smith and tell people to keep Kidd's name of of their fucking mouths since so many people here and in other parts of the fandom can't shut up about him constantly like he's the boogeyman of One Piece fandom or something. So long as people keep talking about and slandering him, they are ironically keeping him relevant and thus alive that way....what was it Dr Hiriluk said again? Oh yeah!:
Kidd fans have some of the greatest tenacity/loyalty and a lot of Zoro cowards/ZKK clowns ran away once Wano was over and didn't stick to their agenda too, irony much when they slander Kidd a lot too? Why are they so insecure/afraid? That's not very Zoro-like, not even remotely! Zoro would never be that DISLOYAL to anything! Ride or die after all!
It takes an actual spine to be a Kidd fan just like Sanji fans have been going through for well over a decade now at least if not far longer. Or Koby fans too. Hell even Admiral fans post TS and Marine fans especially. God knows the fandom tried too hard to shit on Garp for the longest time and they're gonna eat their words when Mihawk's time to shine finally comes like it did for people who slandered Garp so much (Hello KoL). Oda already making Crocodile slanderers pay hard now too gradually and I hope he does the same for both Moria and Kidd.
Moria dove into a YONKOS TERRITORY ALONE to find his missing nakama, then Perona did the same to find Moria too. Kidd would do the same for Killer at least or Victoria if she was still alive.
People are so scared of Kidd coming back, they have to make not one but TWO threads here insisting hes dead because they're so afraid of that metaphorical boogeyman happening or and they try to convince Kidd fans to be afraid and lose hope as you were trying to do too.
Kidd fans will get the last laught ultimately and it will be the most catharthic, poetic shit the entire OP fandom will ever see.
Its easy to talk shit when someone is down, to look down on them and act all high and mighty, it shows a lot of people's true colours, cowardice and pettiness. Showing their inner bullies and such.
If I had a dollar for each time I see bozos talking shit about Kidd and his fans, I could pay for them to get fucking therapy for their insane obsessions with him. Especially a certain 2 users who had to make threads insisting he's dead too.
Kidd has much bigger balls than a lot of overrated characters in the series, no wonder it spurs a lot of hate towards him. He doesn't lie, he doesn't play mind games and such. He cares about his crew too even though he does fucked up, immoral shit too. He is unapologetic, brash and knows the truth of the world directly and adapted to it pretty well in his own way.
In fact a lot of people who hate him seem to be pretty passive aggressive and dishonest, must be coincidence surely? Not all of them ofc but a lot of them from what I've seen.
Kidd is awesome and nobody can change that especially with their disingenious slander. He's the kind of guy to stand up to bullies and take them down, to protect the ones he cares about and actually do something instead of talking big, being performative and thus falsely altruistic.

I always hated the Law glazers since Dressrosa and the insane downplay of Kid fucking up Smoothie and taking the poneglyph rubbing, starting the Hawkins Drake Kidd alliance, destroying Big Moms ships, facing Ben Beckmann, always being one step ahead of Goofy till Wano Act II, no timeskip rest, having higher bounty in Sabaody (inb4 OHH ITS CUZ BRUTALITY ABD KILLING!) Having a better crew than that mook Law and having impressive 20+ members, escaping WCI before Urouge

Koby needs to take out a big pirate to become admiral. Grus too probably. We saw how in wano, Kid and Law went from 500 mil to 3 billion via a single victory against a top tier.
Koby and Grus will be the same. Kid is the most likely candidate to fall to them. He is an evil pirate, a big shot, luffy’s rival, all while being less important than characters like Shanks, Teach, Buggy, etc.

my guess is something like this:
- Akainu allies with Loki and invades Elbaf. Luffy beats Akainu and Kid and Law beat Loki. Kid gets a 4-5 billion berry bounty, basically solidifying him as a yonko tier pirate.
- Post Elbaf, Kid attacks new marineford, thinking it will be weakened since the admirals were defeated by the SHs in Elbaf. Koby and Grus defend new marineford, capture Kid, and become admirals going into the final war.

Not to mention it actually makes sense for Kidd to have Awakening. Oda is a bum who saw how liked Law and Crocodile were an wanked Law beyond Doffy Cracker Smoothie Katakuri King Zoro Yamato just to parallel Law and Kidd.
Meanwhile Act 1 Law got clapped by Hawkins. Its clear Oda changed up and started fanboying over Law again in Act 3
