Yeah croc got me into OP because I saw scenes of him from WatchMojo and wanted to check it out.

Beyond him Oda has made some banger villains. I’d say after croc my favorites probably:
1. Enel - Similar reasons just the perfect example of a god complex done right. And I wish Oda used him more as a template for the gorosei cause him saying people as means of entertainment rather than just insects made him that much more menacing.
2. Smoker - Favorite Marine. Dude knows attacking a member of an emperors crew may trigger war but says fuck it and tells his people to attack Ace anyways cause the higher ups don’t tell him what to do.
3. Blackbeard - Bros just having a good time. He makes plans, they go wrong, he says fuck it we ball anyways and whether out of luck or destiny gets more than he initially planned for anyways.

Can't remember.. I had someone in my mind in fact I think I liked that character more than SHs because the main crew sucks...

Until alabasta I think it was tashigi. Had very high hopes for her with her conflicts and justice in alabasta but oda dumped on her....


Other minor ones are like fisher tiger and otohime... They made FI very enjoyable for me...

Forgot to mention Bege. Headshots a guy from a boat half a mile away with a pistol for messing with his wife (while holding their baby in his other arm) then, after being told he has nowhere to run, casually reveals his boat is also a tank. Absolute all-timer guy tbh.
