He didn't give his dream up, he gave his life to protect Luffy's dream. It was a cash out... which is why Kuma accepted the deal. Which is why when Sanji offered his life, they both just ignored it because his rationale was bullshit. The "Marines will fear me" thing never came up before or since. Zoro lived and in the process impressed Kuma, so it's nothing like what Sanji has done. Unless you count the "hee hee this attack is pretty good" before Doflamingo attempted to ass rape him as something similar.

I don't hate Sanji but even if I did, that would have nothing to do with the fact that he isn't a conqueror. I think you do this song and dance because deep down you understand that, too. Minimal competitive spirit, no desire to be the best at what he does, willing to live a life despite abandoning his declared dream, doesn't command the respect of rivals and peers, helpless against actual conquerors.

Even being completely neutral on Sanji, we're literally talking about the ambition to conquer. Sanji doesn't have that. He doesn't even want to conquer teenage coochie, he just hopes that they will be kind enough to spare some.

Usopp witha diddy or whoever that user is brought up his childhood flashback. Being a conqueror doesn't mean you occasionally have a dream about something from ten years ago. By that logic we'll see Crocodile get it before Sanji, at least that MF went for Whitebeard's head.
