Main reason why I hate it that the sequel is a bi-weekly manga, the fights are shorter than in the original manga. Best example is Jellal vs God Serena or the battles against the Dragon slayer knights.

Same, I was happy that Eden Zero ended but seems like nothing changed.
Seems like Mashima don´t even draw these chapters, his editor does it.
I really think Mashima has not much to do with 100years quest, only make the storyboard and leave it to his editor who can only do the work bi weekly.

Mashima even said, he never planed a squal, his bosses pushed him to do it.
So he said fuck it, gave his storyboard to his editor and they draw it.

I wish Mashima would comeback, but seems like he finished Fairy tail in his heart.

He works at so many projects at the same time.....I hate it.
So far I know he works on FT100YQ, a new anime project, a game project but I think this one was Famagia this game came out a week ago and maybe at some other projects too.

I would like it too if he focused more on FT again.

Wed looks badass but I think he will fall in the next two chapters.

Diabolos losing against Selene makes sense, so Selene the only dg so far who isn't portrayed like fodder, nice.

For the most part fairy tail does a pretty good job not off screening battles we may not see the entire fight but I'm sure we'll catch glimpses

Anyone getting Fairy Tail 2 the game? I FINALLY got the first one recently but theres also a volleyball game or something atm which looks fun and a card based dungeon crawler rogue-like one I think?

I remember years ago mashima was willing to fund at least a mobile game for fairy tail and was willing to give a million yen minimum for it? Something like that?

I've always deeply adored his character designs the most and especially art style. Fairy tail has the best OST to an anime ive seem aside from bleach, mha and naruto, I'd say joint equal with Naruto as best but Fairy tails ost is extremely heartfilia I mean heartful and some of the most epic, thrilling and fun too, a wonderful range like no other too.

I dropped the series a long time ago but I still love it in some ways. It gave me moments ill never forget, much like other series and permanently will always be a part of me.

I might get into 100YQ after all, I was reluctant before but more FT is more FT and I'd like that fix in my life again. Fairy Tail was a relentlessly optimistic series with tons of heart and camaraderie and imo the bear emotional and character moments if any series I've seen, aside from the likes of naruto, trigun, cowboy bebop etc.

No idea but most FT Mobilegames are only in Japan.FT Fierce Battle is Global as well.Not a bad game

When the manga ended. Erza vs the meteor made me turn into such a blind rage, despite being such an Erza stan myself ironically, that I almost dropped the series but I was determined to see it through, to see how it ended and then I dropped it and disowned it out of frustration lmao.

I really didn't like the handling of Gildarts, Zeref, Acnologia etc in the end too. But I barely remember it too.

I remember before GrayJuvia became a thing, I kinda liked GrayErza interactions, for example (vague memory though):
- Child Gray kept challenging child Erza to fight, until he accidentally saw child Erza crying alone at river.
- Gray and Erza had argument, usually Gray didn't dare to talk back. But that time Gray talked back, grabbing Erza's sword with his hand which shocked her

Beginning of series Erza when she was more serious and cold > new Erza that became clumsy.
So much of character development. New Erza's character should have been written as post TS Zoro instead of like post EL Robin. The new, more childish design doesn't help but makes the overall design more sucks.

Edolas Erza is also reduced to joke in 100 Years Quest.
Mirajane so called Erza's rival, scary powerful S Class Wizard, never really got any justice. They say "show, don't tell" but we only get tell and no show from Mirajane.

Guess Oda is not alone in making female characters suck.

If among Oda's main characters, the victims are post TS Sanji, Chopper, and Usopp.
Then it is safe to say Mashima's biggest victim is Erza, no contest.

Yeah no, 100YQ Gray just doesn't get many fights anymore.
His character though, it basically stays consistent.

Erza lost so much aura compared to beginning of series Erza. I get author trying to show she is defrosting ice queen, but she now acts really different (in bad and cringe way) and lost much of her intimidating aura. Especially when Jellal's name is mentioned or when he is around.
Same thing happened to Edolas Erza.

One other character Mashima ruined is Freed. Used to be cool and have mysterious aura. Has cool looking magic.
But now he totally acts as Laxus' puppy or his gay cheerleader.
