Throughout the years, there have been maybe theories about the world of One Piece. Some of them have been proven true, some are half-debunked, and others were cruelly debunked by the manga and Oda. Some of these debunked theories were quite interesting, and would have changed the entire course of the story if they were true.
My personal favorite debunked One Piece theory was one about Sanji being the son of the Blond Gorosei

Sanji > Zoro. Sanji won’t have CoC. Carrot for Nakama. Yamato will die. Zoro > Luffy. Mihawk >=< Shanks. Sanji will get CoC. Crocodile is Luffy.

I wanted Nami to have it lol. I swear the fact Caesar did the whole devil fruit demonstration for no reason had me convinced that the snow snow orange was about to be a thing. Heck I’d be happy if Carrot ate it, I just wanted someone to eat the damn thing.

I wanted Nami to have it lol. I swear the fact Caesar did the whole devil fruit demonstration for no reason had me convinced that the snow snow orange was about to be a thing.

Someone once theorized Vergo would eat the Snow Fruit, fly to Dressrosa, and then have a rematch with Sanji.
