But I would expect Town Ultra to actually give some kind of explanation. Most of the stuff said is meaningless anyway like legacy reads because people won't take it at face value or won't put much weight in it but that's the nature of the game and should be given anyway

I had no reason to believe my kill on Fuji/Light would succeed, you know, given that I had already shot him and it failed.

I mean, I guess I could have taken his explanation about his kill immunity as a lie, but I more or less take that at face value when someone says that because there's a higher chance their just rewording what their actual ability is and covering their ass in case they're shot a buncha times. There's nothing to be gained if it just fails again. This is also why I chose to shoot Emi over him.
