Future Events Final opponents for the strawhats

Mihawk does not work for the WG anymore, so Zoro will have to beat him before the SHs fight the WG.
Zoro will surpass Mihawk in Elbaf. Morj’s prediction about Elbaf being Shanks’ arc was right. Luffy will prove himself to be a great pirate to Shanks by surpassing him, Usopp will prove himself to be a brave warrior and he will surpass his father, and Zoro will prove himself to be the WSS and surpass Mihawk

Zoros last opponent will be ether Mihawk, if he is an ally of Im at the end of the story. if not, then maybe the samurai one of the five elders, or maybe a new character? Maybe Im or Kong have their own elite forces.
the rest of the crew will fight vice admirals, high world goverments agents and maybe officers of shanks crew, if they are allies of the world goverment at the end.

Its Shanks and his crew. Mihawk will partner with Shanks. This makes sense because Mihawk should be Zoro's last fight and Mihawk/Shanks actually have a relationship in this series. This was set up VERY early on in the story.
Plus, tying the series back to returning the strawhat and Luffy surpassing Shanks is pretty much what this story is about. Blackbeard wasn't introduced until 25% into the story, he was not a factor in Chapter 1.
Think about it this way. Naruto ended with Naruto/Sasuke finally setting aside their differences after their battle. It heavily ties back to their rivalry established in Chapter 1 of Naruto. Even after all the plot-twisty, world ending threats via Obito, Madera and Kaguya (substitute these 3 for Blackbeard, Akainu and Im lol), it still came down simply to their relationship. Nothing else mattered. The same thing is happening here with Luffy/Shanks, but in an entirely different level.
Anyway, that's my 2 cents on the matter.

One thing about the fights after this arc, is that regardless of who it is Shanks, BB, or Akainu, the fights will have a lot more emotional resonance because Luffy has a history with them and a strong personal reason to fight them. Because of that the fights will be riveting, I think more so than anything we've seen yet, so I don't mind who the "FINAL" one is TBH.
However, this is just my gut, but for some reason I think BB. I don't know how but I just get the feeling Oda is building him up to be it. I actually see the final battle not having one faction verse one faction but multiple factions fighting for the future of the world. Like BB v WG v SH. So maybe BB gets to the one piece first and Luffy is doing his best to catch up and needs to beat him in some grand final war. IDK just spit balling, i'm just along for the ride.
