Turns out he was just a short tempered manchild who wanted everything since he was a kid because "it's his nature" instead of the cunning, intimidating crime lord with grandiose ambitions like he was portrayed as before.

I found his backstory mildly interesting, but it should have been told long before now. There was no need to drag it out for so long. He isn't even the best MHA villian. Shiggy and Dabi are way more interesting. Too much time and focus has been wasted on AFO.
