AdCoC is because he is a descendant of Ryuma, not because he got a lucky chance (like Whitebeard for example).
No wonder haha, and I thought Oda gave him it bcs he is a fanboy, but no, it would make no sense for not give him considering this fact.

Of course, it's not the sole reason. But genetics do play a role. There's a reason why no one's surprised Dragon's son got CoC. There's also a reason why Roger's son, at least one of Big Mom's sons, and Kaido's daughter have it. I am sure Oden's son's a conqueror too.
Zoro's undeniably a direct descendant of Ryuma, so it does have some relevance in determining Zoro's latent potential, but that doesn't mean his CoC is from Ryuma. It could be from the Rorona bloodline for all we know.

Out of all the bigmam kids only Kata had it.
Yamato/Ace and Doflamingo awakened it during childhood. Projecting their kingly ambitions. Not necessarily because their parents are CoC Users.
