Even without that Boichi manga, Ace has canon feats that put him over every single commander. Stalemating Yamato makes him stronger than every YC1 combined. Zoro, King, Marco, Kata, Benn, Shitryu put all of them together and Ace still high diffs them.
Also MF Ace who was tired and nerfed due to seastone was able to nullify Kuzan's fruit. The same kuzan that negs commanders for breakfast with his fruit.

And Yami Teach beat this Ace mid diff.

He can also defeat kata not bc he is physically stronger but bc fire>>>>>>>>mochi. Marco wins and king probably. Need to see more from beckman and shiryu to scale them. Entei was clashing against Darkness the ability that can suck anything and it still took time to completely engulf Entei

Kuzan even casual negged Cracker and Jozu. Jack doesn't have any haki feat that gives him any kind of defence against even casual Kuzan.
