Ace was on the lower end of high tier. He was over reliant on his df and didn't seem to train his haki or physical abilities to the point they'd fit his level. Anyone who can deal with his df would beat ace because he has nothing else. He was strong just not as strong as some believe like putting him over jozu strong.

When you think about it Ace tied against Jinbe before he joined the WBPs. Three years of good experience on Wb crew and having a powerful logia, he should be at least KoH level.

Zoro is at best a tier above Marco/King who I put in the same league as Ace from what we know.
