Imo any info coming out is just the way of Bayern's to derail Leverkusen in the hope they recover the lost points. Too many articles in too little of time.
For those who may not have watched, Liverpool just pulled off arguably the greatest cup final win since 2005 Istanbul
Liverpool had the following players missing:
Matip, Szoboszlai, Trent, Salah, Nunez, Jota, Alisson, Jones, Thiago, Bajcetic, Doak
Gravenberch off injured in the 25th minute for a blatant red card challenge (not given)
Liverpool players picking up cards for merely existing while Chelsea players looked like they could two-foot someone in the face and win a free kick for it
Every 50/50 went chelseas way
Every big decisions went chelseas way
I wouldn't be surprised if the referees were paid off - the engraver might've had Chelsea's name carved into the trophy for all we know
Perfectly good goal ruled out in the second half
Ended the game with
Jayden Danns (18, 2nd ever pro game), James McConnell (19, 7th club appearance), Bobby Clark (19, 6th ever club appearance) on the pitch (and, by the way, they weren't passengers. They DOMINATED Chelsea's 280m midfield) and still won against a club that spent more money in 2 years than Liverpool have since the year 2000 and still won!
This league cup final is one for the ages.
