General & Others For what reason exactly would Marco stop fighting King ?

I think almost all the non-SH fights will get very little space,so to develop the character of King Oda will make him fight Zoro. But Zoro can fight King now and Kaido later,dont worry ZKK fans! By the way, Marco could be tired after fighting with both King and Queen for a while and be defeated for this reason.

Thing is how can Marco be defeated without being delivered a fatal blow ? He can just keep healing

the fact that the same thing already happened before this arc when Marco was with the scabbards right before the roof but left right when they were going because of the big mom pirates

If anyone is flying Luffy back it’ll be Momo, since Momo needs to overcome his fear of heights this arc and he’s the one who can actually sense where Luffy is.

I think it will be portrayed as Zoro returning the favour. “You helped me before, now I’ll help you.”

Perospero isn’t done, he still needs to run into Neko and Carrot again. And Oda did imply that he’s planning on doing something to Marco.

I could see a scene where
-Marco and King are fighting, Marco thinks to himself that even though he’s not fighting Queen anymore, he’s still tired from taking on them both.
-King gets set up to launch a heavy attack
-Marco goes to dodge, but Perospero sneaks behind him and encases him in candy so he can’t move
-Marco looks finished
-Zoro appears, blocks the attack, and tells Marco to rest and that it’s his turn to fight

That is a good scenario . Can you show me the source for Oda saying he will do something to Marco ? That is interesting

And even when he gets up neko left a while ago to look for him so he can't be too far off
I don't see why zoro would be in a rush to take a pain relief that will fuck him up just to go to King.

I just don't think Oda will give Marco the win against a first commander in a new generations fight. This is an out of universe reason of course

In universe‚ it makes no sense why Marco would need Zoro's help

he is not fast enough and it consumes his haki very fast, he needs to conserves his haki for Kaido. and by the way Marco was a support character from the beginning. I don't expect him to have a main fight but to help where he is needed.

Honestly, both "Zoro is gonna fight King" or "Zoro is gonna return to fight Kaidou" have their own legit reasons to believe in their cause.

For instances, people said Zoro will not return to Kaidou just because he trust Luffy. But there's other instances in the story itself to support otherwise, like in Thriller Bark

He trusts Luffy, but he knows that they can't leave everything into Luffy's own hands.
