Future Events Forget Elbaf Arc

#21
You guys are stating that he loves vikings. I'm asking if he said those specific words.
In chapters 10, 12 and 14 he wrote texts speaking of vikings where he stated "I want to talk about one of my favorite kind of pirates: the Vikings". He then mentioned Vicky the Viking by saying "that's probably how I started liking pirates", something he has repetead throughout the years in different interviews. Last but not least, he accompanied this with a drawing of Luffy as a viking.

Not only Oda loves vikings but they are the foundation of One Piece and its piracy.

Go reread Orange Town. Oda expresses in three separate chapters (starting in chapter 10) information about vikings. Chapter 14 is where he mentions Vikky the Viking specifically as the reason he started liking pirates. It's been there since the beginning.

It would be weird if the one race that has permeated nearly every arc from Little Garden to Usopp's dreams in Water 7 to the giantification experiments in Punk Hazard to Hajrudin in Dressrosa to Loki's namedrop in WCI, it'd be strange if we didn't get some payoff for all that. Who better than Vikings to determine if Usopp is finally a brave warrior? Who other than giants can even give Luffy a challenge between now and his match with Blackbeard? Big Mom was just a vehicle to set up Loki. The arc was always going to be about Usopp.

People still believes we will have an Elbaf Arc.

Funnily enough is the same people that believes Emperors are dead.

Forget one of theses ideas.

Elbaf Arc makes no sense without Big Mom. What would be the plot? Shanks? Usopp? For what reason? What are their connections with Giants or Elbaf? NONE!

The least reason and very unlikely would be the fight between Brogy and Dorry finaly ended so we could have a reunion... But that's it no plot at all.

No Big Mom = No Elbaf Arc.

From now on if you believe in Elbaf Arc you are also believing Big Mom is alive(and by logic Kaido as well).
Elbaf's arc never had anything to do with Big Mom. That is something that was added later. So Big Mom's survival is insignificant.

It will be more or less short, but the Elbaf arc must exist, it is part of Usopp's dream. Also, coincidentally his King is Loki, the God of lies. Doesn't sound like Usopp at all. LoL

Love that he takes another L and then vanishes

elbaf is going to be about blackbeard
road to raftel already hinted that the 4th road poneglyph was there.

lets not be tards about this. Elbaf was built up for literal decades. Its not going to be a zou type arc. Its going to be the next major arc, probably where Blackbeard and shanks will fall.

Then imagine having Wano without Kaido because he was defeated by Kid alliance when he jumped off sky island.

We still had a lot of plot that doesn't need Kaido. But would be an arc?
There is a difference bruhz.

Wano : It's mentioned 200+ chapters after Elbaf. And didn't get any proper hype or relevancy for the straw hats to go there until Punk Hazard, an arc where events were related to Kaido.

Elbaf: is not only mentioned before Alabasta, but the connection with the people from Elbaf and Straw hats is made as well. Along with the hype of Elbaf being a strong warrior country. Along with expectation of the straw hats visting it one day. All before even Alabasta started.

Not sure how the two are even comparable bro.

My point is. Since Punk Hazard the Strawhats had a reason to go to each island.

They had a reason to go to Dressrosa. Then Zou. Then WCI. Then Wano.

Now it seems we don't have any reason to go anywhere. They have to keep going for sure. And we may know a lot of information after Robin finish reading the 3 Red Poneglyphs and maybe Pluton has something on it too.

With the information we have now I don't see any reason for Elbaf to be the next location unless the log pose point to there. They don't know anyone that is current at Elbaf or will meet them at Elbaf. They don't have any villain that they want to defeat at Elbaf.

For sure Elbaf is a relevant country, it has Yggdrasil or something like that if I remember correct. And a easier path to Skypea. I had just forgot that so now it seems more possible to me that Elbaf becomes an arc.

Same about Wano? Wano metioned with Ryuuma had nothing to do with Kaido even with Moriah talking about Kaido. Wano and Kaido was only related at Punk Hazard.

Elbaf was first mentioned in Little Garden. It’s also possible that Elbaf is Shank’s territory. I don’t think the arc needs to necessarily connect with just Big Mom. If Shanks is there, then clearly there’s a connection between Luffy and Shanks and Usopp and Yasopp.

Funnily enough I don't think it has so much Vikings references at Wano.

And what do you mean by this? If you told me before Punk Hazard that there was no need to go to Wano, I would have told you the same.

There are certain islands that without knowing the reason, we knew that sooner or later we would go. Fishman Island, Wano and Elbaf are islands that have been fixed on the route of the Muguis for a long time.

There doesn't have to be a real reason to go to Elbaf, as long as it's the next Island according to the Log Pose, that's enough. It has been like this for a long time and the dynamic was only changed due to Law. Without Law, we should go back to the old dynamic.

Not to mention that the last Road Poneglyph may be found in Elbaf. Or even if Mom is alive, she might end up there. What you want is to know things ahead of time. And just because we don't know certain things, doesn't mean they won't happen.

Then why we are not visiting the island Ace got defeated? Or that lightning island. Or the magnetic one? Or the island where Drake joined Beast Pirates.

We may visit them, who knows.

But of course, Elbaf is 99% safe. But since before Alabasta. Usopp's dream is related to Elbaf, what's more, he could fulfill it directly there.

Also, coincidences of life, the King of Elbaf is Loki, the God of Lies, coincidentally related to Usopp himself. Coincidentally, it is an Island near Wano.

The tracks are giant, man.
