so far the whole story of rooftop shows just one story "how luffy learn to get stronger so that he can beat kaido, zoro helps luffy have more time to learn" zoro attack is just a deeper slash than normal, that enough to leave a scar, in fact kaido didn;t seem to be weaker after this attack.
