Questions & Mysteries From a plot point of view, why you think Zoro didn't meet Vergo?

Lol don't even try that. Big Mom got knocked down by Franky and rolled by Robin. Queen managed to throw Zoro AND Luffy but they didn't even give a shit. Unlike Sanji getting pinned by the other calamity, Zoro set the record straight when he got serious

Oh and
:lusalty:
To that new school rip off. As a Sanji fan you'd really like Lee, he's like the prototype
No worries, I dont say it with any kind of "seriousness". But the "longest arc" joke was just too juicy to pass. :P

zoro felt vergo's aura he just didn't give a fuck

didn't luffy survived gastanet without a scratch, if sanji got nerfed that much from the same attack that only means he was already weak in the first place
Nami was in Sanji's body is not at the same level as Sanji in his body. We already saw this when Tagashi tried to attack Luffy and Luffy complained how weak smoker had gotten.

For same reason Oda added Fujitora to stand between Zoro & Doffy & for same reason Oda didn't let Zoro go to WCI & for same reason Zoro got lost in Act 1 of Wano & didn't meet Kaido & for same reason Oda added Big Mom on the Roof & made Zoro nerfed by their Combined Attack.

Oda doesn't want his Arcs to end up Very Short
Actually Oda nerfed Zoro by taking Shusui away from him and giving him Enma. The combined attack actually buffed him since Zoro best feats are when he is injured as hell.

sanji's diable jame ignores tekkai that's why i brought it up, it uses heat to do damage, and i don't really think vergo used tekkai, when his armament is much better alternative, sanji came out of nowhere and kicked him into the wall, when vergo got serious and attacked back, sanji didn't get blized he tried to block with his leg and almost broke it, he immediately switched it and started clashing with vergo using his left leg
vergo's kick that fractured sanji's leg had more momentum and weight put into it that's why other stationary kicks didn't have similar effect, that also hints to sanji's strength as he was able to block without getting knocked back, it's just that he cant take damage

i guess you're right about sanji not being a glass canon, he hits his enemies with a lot of attacks multiple times in the fight but he would be looking in much worse shape after taking only few hits, and luffy also attacks a lot but he's also a durability monster, and zoro that end's his battles with few attacks while at the same time taking major damage
sanji: hits given > hits taken
zoro: hits given < hits taken
luffy: hits given hits taken

zoro didn't block killer's attack though, it's very different than sanji who actively reacted to vergo's kick aside from being in 1v1 fight, zoro had to deal with two attacks coming at him in the same time so he choose to dodged the back stab and got impaled instead from the front, it makes sense with zoro's ideas on back wounds being a shame of swordsmen
When a bone broke, it heals and recover strong. That is what I thought when that happened to Sanji. He would heal that broken bone naturally and become stronger at that leg. Guess it didn't happened.

Luffy acted like Zoro when fighting Katakuri accordingly to your perspective of hits given and taken.

Didn't Zoro got stabbed at back by Buggy at Orange Town? I understand the back wound being a shame but you can't help if your enemy is a coward.

that depends, sanji's body won't get weaker just because nami is occupying it, that just means she can't use it to full capacity, the smoker was weak because tashigi's body was weak and tashigi couldn't control smoker's DF
let's take another example, would monster point chopper get knocked out from gear 3 like franky did in his body? imo the outcome would be the same

sanji got stronger over all, his strength development is pretty good imo, let's say he used haki vs vergo, so it'll kinda make sense that vergo with his better armament would overpower sanji, when we got to WCI sanji's haki was strong enough to block judge's spear without getting cut but he still sustained enough damage to bring him to his knees, and by the end of the same arc sanji's haki got stronger to the point where he could clash with daifuku's genie without taking damage

katakuri was weird, i don't think he was fighting seriously, he was just boosting about how superior he was to luffy trying to break his spirit, not until the CoC clash that he goes all out vs snake man luffy

buggy wasn't a coward though, his DF gives him extreme confident against swordsmen, him stabbing zoro in the back was because zoro let his guard down, gyukimaru is different to, he's an animal after all so he could've acted on instinct , by the time zoro dodged his attack killer was already mid swing

Yeah, Sanjis AP wasn’t nerf, his body was just already falling apart so his durability did.

Just like Zoros AP didn’t get nerfed in his Asura attack against Kaido because as he said he put everything he had into that attack.
Lol, a blast that Usopp is able to tank easily (he got damaged a lil but still no problem) nerfs Sanji till the point where Vergo was able to defeat him. Conclusion: Usopp>Explosion>Sanji

Yes, my desires is to see Un-Nerfed Zoro & Main Villain receiving No Help
Oda cannot do that now
We won't get that lol.

Someone needed to get used as someking of a hypetool for Vergo, as his best feat was to beat Smoker, Sanji did more damage with 1 kick than Smoker with 300 blows with Haki, Sanji didn't used haki (especially based on future events, where Sanji did used haki), he understimated Vergo even himself being injured from previous events, got too cocky by how easy it was to trash Vergo and got punished by that, even then he kept trading blows with Vergo.
Zoro's best feat at that time was to get neg diffed by Fujitora single handedly and getting helped to fly and cut Pica with a new named attack, who was trying to harm random for the whole Dressrosa arc, now imagine Pica trying to hit Sanji lmao, even Vergo couldn't

Obviously Vergo is on another league compared to Pica, he is a Vice Admiral, right hand to Doffy, Rokushiki master (Tekkai, Skywalk, Soru and stuff), Sanji said that his body was hard like a mass of iron, and keep in mind that Vergo's full Haki mode doesn't show his legs covered up with haki so we can't confirm if Vergo did used haki, what we have is Vergo using haki even on his elbow against Smoker and the fact that Sanji made him pissed to the point of where we can barely see his leg is something...

Oda wouldn't want to put Vergo to lose against Zoro or Sanji obviously, cuz he would given the circumstances, the lethal gas coming right away to the room where Sanji was fighting Vergo made their fight end right there.

Imagine calling this an L when Sanji trashed a Vice Admiral Doffy's right hand with 2 blows, saved Tashigi and the random Marines, gave a speech about his Captain (a true left hand here), dodged all the attack, pissed his enemy with ease, and then got a bit hurt by understimating his opponent BUT YET kept trading kicks with him until needing to leave due to a gas :suresure: then passing the whole arc without giving a shit to his "iNjuRE"

The argue that "Vergo wasn't trying" is so bad cuz Vergo's reaction when he was being punched or kicked and about to die was literally this:

You can even bring Doflamingo getting wrecked by Gear 4 while smiling somehow
:gokulaugh:

From a plot respective it has to do with Oda'a intention to hype up a post-TS law, who has already obtained the seven warlords title. The logic is as follows.

1) Sanji's bone got cracked against Vergo = Vergo hype.
(I am not a big fan of this, but regardless)

2) Smoker then gets brutally destroyed by Vergo = more Vergo hype.

3) Vergo then gets 1-shot by Law = Totally unexpected given Vergo's feat against smoker + sanji = HUGE HUGE law hype

In hindsight, I believe it is necessary to hype up Law, as he has shown to be the most valuable ally to the SH crew.

Back to your question, why didn't zoro meet vergo?
After reading wano, we know that if zoro meets vergo and fights him, then vergo wouldn't be able to get any hype because while vergo is strong he is nowhere near the level of someone who can scar Kaido and block off Hakai. A hyped vego is necessary to establish law's power post-TS.

because zoro would one shot vergo
law would not get his moment if zoro went for vergo
taht s why that weakling went the hypetool of strawhats lanji

To be fair, Sanji is still strong, just not on the same level as zoro and luffy.
He is strong enough that Oda decided to use/sacrifice him as a hypetool for vergo.

it's been established that sanji's body can't withstand the full power of his kicks in baratie and against kuma (by virtue of not developing an exoskeleton)
Pretty sure the reason his body couldn't withstand his own kicks at Baratie was cause at that point in the Gin fight, he had already had his ribs shattered by Pearl's attacks, not that regular Sanji couldn't handle his own kicks.

he hurt his leg when he kicked kuma too, he also has enough power to stop vergo's kick (damaged), judge's spear (damaged) and daifuku genie's halberd (didn't touch the edge, didn't get damaged), sanji always had a weak durability compared to his strength
