Give or take Id say. To years on average is ~400 more chapters. And i say 300-400 is safe because theres just so much to address and he's not really "rushing" like people think

Yes thats taking it into accout mostly. We get 36-38 chapters a year lately so thats a little over 350 chapters on average for 10 years.
I think roughy 300 is a good measuring point for now. Thats enough time to finish Egghead, do Elbaf, do the battle for the 4th Poneglyph, Lodestar, LT and a war against the WG, if its not all consolidated into one big thing.
Ehh, hes 50, not 80 lol. But yeah he's pushing it for mangaka of this serialization. Id say motivation is absolutely what will keep him going 10 more years if need be.
Also to add, Emerald City was absolutely a mistranslation back in the day for Shandora, the City of Gold. VIZ called it "El Dorado". All of Skypiea already addressed Bellamy's namedrops, it wasnt a Wizard of Oz reference.
But I do argue geography had to play a role. If we are going to Elbaf, which is Kid's route, then chances are we are going to Law's original destination as well. This can very easily be where the fight for the 4th Poneglyph takes place for example, since it doesnt sound like the Burned Man is on Elbaf.
Then Lodestar may honestly be needed to at least reach the physical last island. Imo the minimum is:
- Egghead
- Elbaf (Kid's route)
- Law's route
- Lodestar
- Laugh Tale
- Final War (assuming we go to New Marineford/Laugh Tale).
I also think God Valley may also be the ancient weapon Uranusand what destroyed Lulusia, so it wouldnt be its own arc or anything either if thats the case.
Just want to point out that Stussy might be the key in knowing where the Burned Man is. She's not only CP0 (and thus can explain hes a WG employee if he is) or if he has any connections to the underworld.
I have this funny feeling that Oda is truly copying the literal number of destinations from Paradise to New World, in a way to maintain consistency on geography even if some dont have Logs:
Funny enough, if you consider Kid and Law's destinations, Lodestar and Laugh Tale, that completes the book to Sabaody, which is the end of Paradise.
For things "outside" of the adventure, if you include God Valley (regardless if its Uranus or not, I personally think it exists still), New Marineford, and Mariejois, then it completes equal locations.
To complete the list:
- Reverse Mountain = Fishman Island
- Whiskey Peak = Punk Hazard
- Little Garden = Dressrosa
- Drum = Zou
- Alabasta = WCI
- Jaya = Wano
- Skypiea = Egghead
- LRLL = Fullalead/Underworld
- Water 7 = Elbaf
- Enies Lobby = Law's Destination (Underworld? Burned Man 4th RP?)
- Thriller Bark = Lodestar
- Sabaody = Laugh Tale
- Amazon Lily = New Marineford
- Impel Down = Mariejois
- Marineford = God Valley
Not exactly in that order and does not consider some islands will be 20-30 chapters potentially if they are lore driven.
Alabasta is an saga = Whiskey peak, Little garden, drum and alabasta are one big arc
East Blue= Renunion+ Fishman Island
Alabasta= Dressrosa ( defeat an Shichibukai in secret vs openly)
Skypia= Zou + PH even though PH comes before ( two logia users who are trash when it comes to physical combat), two weapons
Ennis Lobby= Whole Cake island Friend gets captured
Thriller bark= Wano Oars / Kaido get defeat by new transformation
Sabody=Egghead island ( Crew gets crushed prob reverse crew shocks the world)
now BB and Imu are left
OP is prob att Elbaf the tree is the way for Laugh tale
I think the moon will play a role personally in the endgame but I doubt we directly go there.
Just me though. Its just too out there at this point, unless theres some wacky shit like blowing up a moon to flood the world (which maybe the Void Century dealt with something like this with other moons).

Nah I dont think each arc would be 80-100 chapters long lol:
- Egghead: 30-50 chapters left potentially
- Fullalead/Underworld: If Stussy leads us there for the Burned Man or Rocks lore, I expect it to be short and more expositional, no direct villain. Zou sized and 20-30 chapters.
- Elbaf: Signficant, 80-100 chapters and cant be helped imo. Elbaf definitely has its own issues that Luffy will resolve, regardless if some people think its irrelevant.
- 4th RP/Lodestar/LT: Imo, these 3 "arcs" or locations will be 4 Yonko centric and may take another 100-150 chapters altogether
- Final Conflict w/ WG: 100 or so chapters.
This is why I say 300-400 chapters is a safe guess. You cant really take away any of this save for maybe Fullalead or Underworld since they arent "guaranteed" to exist or happen, but the rest are central to the manga.
The key really is Elbaf and its relationship to the end. Is it separate or central to the 4th RP and LT plotline?
Best place to hide VP is the Underworld. Best place to look for the burned man too likely is the Underworld. This is exactly wht I think its next, at least a location tied to it.
These things may also be tied to Elbaf ifn some way but who knows.

Haha I dont think theres really any parallel arc correlation, but I was just saying that there are exactly 15 locations pre-TS that Luffy travelled to. Currently we are at 7 post, so I doubt we'll get 8 more in the end, but it was a fun thought.
As a Shanks fan, its just as bad as an outcome as the other way around. Both are entirely geared up to cross with Luffy, either together or at separate points.
