That is a common theme for every strong character and not just old legends.
Either its a fodder that get done in after a few shots or the character is strong and pulls every trick they have.

The Rest gets to reveal their Signature Attack for First Time but stay Safe, such as Dorry/Brogy, Ace, Aokiji, Kizaru, Akainu, Fujitora, Sabo, Kuma, Shanks, Yamato, Hancock, Blackbeard, Law, Kid ... etc
However, it's obvious that when One of these Characters is gonna get Defeated, They won't go down without using their Sig. Attacks such as Ace & Kid, however it's simply not First Time We see it
So i'm not saying other Characters are Safe, i'm just saying that if Gaban got his Sig. Attack Revealed, then He is Doomed. (Not Fairly though)
Others like Rayleigh, Sengoku, Tsuru, Garling ... etc are still on Waiting List
I can't see any way for him not to be used as a hype tool at this point. It will most likely be Shanks clone who does it though, so it shouldn't be too hard of a pill to swallow.
I think the only way I'll feel bad for Lanji fans is if he gets taken down by an admiral, they won't survive that humiliation.

there is going to be no backstabbing. its litteraly 3 holy knifes against whole army, strawhats, gaban litteraly the complet opposite of whitebeard vs marinford, strawhats luffy vs gorosei and admiral, rayleigh vs blackbeard and coby with seraphim, The Holy knifes are outnumbered so in this kind of situation they have the right to do anything to win. kizaru litteraly attacked marco from the back yet no one bait an eye..
This Pattern started from Post-TS with Neptune,
WB didn't Name any of his Attacks, but He did use his Signature Attack against Akainu,
It was Confirmed by BB the Moment He tried to Mimic it,
BM can create any Homie She wants, for example She lost Zeus, so replaced him with Hera,
Her Signature Homie/Technique would be One that directly represents her & should be a Unique Homie, not Multiple,
That's obviously Misery, it's literally a Mother Homie (Representing both her & Carmel),
I already told you, aside from WB & BM,
Garp too went down not long after Galaxy Impact was shown,
Neptune went down not long after He Showed us his Signature Attack
Same for Chinjao & Hyogoro & Streusen,
It's fine if you don't believe Gaban is gonna get his "I'm going to Die/Fall" Scene,
But let's just wait & see, if i'm right, it will happen in next Three Chapters (Unless there is a Loki Flashback in between)
