It's obvious that one piece is not about diamonds or gems so the panel didn't provide much of a hint.

However, oda clearly said that one piece is some physical thing so making friends along the way won't fit as real treasure or One Piece

I am not at all interested in what one piece is going to be. Oda has done a very bad job of setting up events and expectations. Whatever you can think of one piece as...it will be a disappointment for how long the series is. I highly doubt it will be rewarding for me at all. I can't think of any case where I would like certain thing to be one piece. So better just be something stupid like the comments here. I mean take shanks hat which luffy has...do you think one piece will be important to luffy more than that?
