Character Discussion Garp the Hypocrite

#1

"I taught I taught you to live in the now"
"Only weaklings lose their way"

Kinda ridiculous to hear those words from someone who allies with a pirate crew to defeat another pirate crew. Basically like the CIA supporting drug cartels to help finance some rebels coup an undesired president.

Also, his performance at marineford was half assed as fuck. Do you want to kill ace, luffy, whitebeard and defeat the WBP alliance? Do you want to help your boys to escape this mess? It's literally one way or the other. But hypocrite garp sneaked his coward ass through the scenario without having to take responsibility. Muh "Imma kill akainu"
*Resigns 3 hours later, gets tfo the command chain and never even faces Magmachad out of fear and shame*

Yeah, Garp the Hero. What a straightforward and strong willed man

Note, this is not a strength debate but one about ball size.

Fake ass Garp is the most hypocrite character ever.

- fakes hatred towars DC, yet does nothing concrete at all to change things.

- in his native village, he holds ties with criminals terrorising the villagers he prétends to protect.

- He entrusts criminals to raise his Kids and yet he expects them to become marines and serve the WG.

- his country is ran by stupid ass sociopaths, that make life miserable for inhabitants yet he aint do shit to fix the situation.

- he holds a fake marine hero title due to wg hiding the truth about Roger defeating xebec.

- didnt seem to notice that his son has kidnapped his mission adopted grandson, loooool

- too stupid to know disclosed stuffs wg is trying to hide, yet his colleague sengoku know alot of things.

- throws crocodile tsars at the death of ACE.

- pretends to want to avenge his pirate grands on,

Yup, but that is how world really works. For that Reason Garp was weak at Marineford and doesn't like to talk about that incident that hailed him as hero.

Even Coby is hailed as hero and it is thanks to Law.

Dude one thing has nothing to do with the other.

Garp's words doesn't get hypocrite because he joined a pirate crew. He is living the now as he said and he didn't lost his way even joining temporarily with a pirate crew. And guess what? This was probably basically what made WG make the Shichibukai System.

As Sengoku said he never asked for Garp to take a position. Garp was the man with most conflict on Marineford because he was on the marine side and had to watch his son die. Yes Ace was his son. He raised as son. Not like Luffy. So he did more than he should.

But yes his action towards Akainu makes no fucking sense.

True, akainu is a man of his Word.

He will go crazy once he finds out that aokiji froze his daughter.

he doesn't have any. dadan should've killed him. dude supposedly refused promotions bc he doesn't like the 'evil CDs' but didn't even flinch when his best friend sengoku organized a mass infanticide.

also imagine having the nerve to have a bandit raise a child only to later complain that the child chose a life of crime
