You just stated before that training is needed to use it correct? Did I not give an example of why from a training standpoint he would qualify?
You also mentioned that he would have to know what awakening was. Was luffy not told by crocodile about awakening? Did doffy not also mention awakening to luffy? Did crocodile not say to luffy and jinbe that that the zoans in impel down were awakened? So not only does he fit the prerequisite from a training aspect he also should fit that prerequisite from a knowledge of awakening aspect as well

It wasn't an argument. The statement was a potential powerup for luffy i stated the most likely powerup is awakening and gave my theory on what it would be. Again I can 100 percent be wrong about that being his awakening or be wrong about him even awakenening in the first place.

However your response was that awakening was unlikely for him but your reasonings didn't make sense as to why it was unlikely. That's all really!

So it wasn't that either of us were wrong or right. It's that you made a statement about it being unlikely and then provided an reasoning as to why it wouldn't happen but your actual reasoning didn't make sense as to why.

Even the whole "they didn't build it up" also doesn't make sense since luffy got advanced coc and there was zero build up to that. We got a build up of luffy getting future sights and then later advanced ryou but there was no build up for advanced coc. Yet he still got it. So the "there is no build up" excuse doesn't hold weight. Especially when there are several times in which awakening of a devil fruit was actually stated to luffy during the series
