Powers & Abilities Gear 4th is a troll ability at this point. When will Luffy finally get rid of the gear 4th drawback?

There are characters who use more haki than Luffy in his gear 4th, but they never run out of haki. It's only Luffy who has this stupid drawback which doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Luffy now has awakend his DF ability, and it seems that–as other awakenings–gear 5th doesn't have any drawbacks. But what about gear 4th? Like seriously, this is trolling at this point. Plus gear 4th is useless, it's much weaker than ACoC Luffy in his base let alone gear 2 combined with ACoC.

It's strange he always did that with the past gears. He can at least use it for a few hours but that doesn't feel so comfortable and meanwhile he can use G5 for too little rn, Loda should at least allow him to boost on that one

Nobody coats their whole body continuosly.
Most character coat before they are hit or when they are hitting.
G4 drawback is that it's a continuous release.

Oda's recipe for Luffy is always plot restriction and ability drawbacks which no one else have

The drawback was because Luffy was at the end of his fight with Kaido pre G5. Unless you want to say that G2/3>G4 Luffy.

Luffy is pretty much in almost full-body armament haki for 30 mins. What do you expect?

We've seen full body CoA being used in specific cases, but it's only maintained for very short amounts of time.

When Zoro was using Haki like Luffy because of Enma he could barely do more than 4 attacks.

With the intdroduction of G5 there's zero reason to use G4 anymore, it has much more freedom to attack and the drawback not as bad as G4.

It can do basically a bigger G4 + G3 combined at will. Inflate/deflate a lot more at wiill.

Possible he will disregard all other gears once he understands wtf he can do with his real powers.

G2 + Gear 3 Luffy> Gear 4. Luffy actaully combined Gear 2 and Gear 3 in chapter 1037 and switching between those Gears as well.

Gear 3 boosted bt Gear 2 is almost Gear 4. And thT is without a timelimit unlike Gear 4.

G4 is way better than G5 and G2 remains the best gear

Nah, Luffy does not have Gear 4 level in his base using AdCoA. He mostly the same, but with lethality.
