Speculations Gear 5th

#1
Do you guys think gear 5th will really happen in Wano? If so, what do you think it's gonna happen? I read some talk about it and would like to know what you guys think. I personally think it's going to be a combination of the previous gears.

Luffy doesn't need Gear 5. King Kong moves are enough.

After KKG, I think he'll try either a King Kong Rifle, King Kong Gatling, or King Kong Organ to defeat Kaido.

Fanfic-ish possibilities:

- G5 manifested through Awakening: making the air elastic according to Luffy's will. In short, Luffy can make Ursus Shocks as many as he wants, as strong as he wants, wherever he wants.

- G5 manifested through Awakening: making elements elastic according to Luffy's will. In short, Luffy can store, compress, and release elemental attacks he received. Like an elemental storage man if you will.

- G5 manifested through Non-Awakening: Rubberizing the Nervous Systems and coordination paths. In short Luffy can attack and react beyond the speed of light.

- G5 manifested through non-awakening: Infinite Density capabilities. In short, Luffy can increase or decrease his rubber density at will. Resulting in hardest substance in universe or most intangible body in the universe.

- etc etc

- ????

- profit.

He will presumably be required G5 and awakening if he wants to solidly take out Sakazuki during the final war the way I see the matter. Despite Sabo will likely assist him.

Luffy may take Big Mom down this very arc despite Katakuri's prediction... so perhaps he will at least unsceathe the latter.

I haven't heard about that one, what's that?
It’s like an awakening thing where he can rubberize things and control them. It’s not rubber world but everything he touches becomes rubbery. Like he could bend buildings towards the enemy or bend weapons.

Pretty sure Oda joked about Gear 5. The gears have nothing to offer to Luffy anymore, he has harnessed everything they can provide. Remains to be seen what Awakening can bring to the table.

I'm a believer in Gear 5th, just not sure if it'll happen now or later.

As for how it'll look, it's safe to say Luffy might get smaller and more maneuverable because that's what he needs instead of being bouncy. That'd be a more elegant and badass look anyways.
