A friend of my friends wrote this really dumb spy thriller novel that they wanna act out as a miniseries for him/their larger group of buddies, and I’m either narrating or playing the main character, that part’s still in flux. They had little interest in giving the novel *I* wrote the same treatment, but whatever, I’m definitely not bitter

Sorry, my friend-of-a-friend wrote the spy story! Mine is more a hero’s journey/redemption tale, so it might not lend itself to an audible adaptation as easily

I wrote it on and off between 2016 and last year, until I ended up with what I view as a satisfactory final draft, but nobody’s gone through with publishing it yet...might opt to go the DIY route if interest remains this tepid

I hope you can get it published! That sounds pretty sick, not many people have the patience to finish the whole novel. I'll be waiting to buy one from my local Indigo.
