Do you guys believe that at some point in the future even Ousen will pressed to a corner like Riboku and actually suffer injuries, obviously making it out alive?

I'd be interested to see how he would handle something like that.
He will be put into traps and dangerous situations for sure but who knows if he'll get injured and have to fight himself or not
I can see his mask getting shattered at some point tho

I don’t really see how or who would be able to pull that off. I don’t really think Ousen will really face many top tier generals in the future capable of pulling that off.

He’ll face Riboku but we won’t see any more 1v1s between Riboku and Ousen I don’t think, we’ll see Riboku and Shibashou vs Ousen, Yotanwa, Shin, potentially Tou, etc…and I don’t see Ousen getting checked so hard when he’s got all that help.

We also know we’ll get Kou En vs Ousen in the future, but Ousen will probably have the other 6GGs with him and Kou En will also have others, I just don’t see Ousen letting himself get cornered that hard with that much help.

If Ousen is the final villain like I theorize, I could see Ouhon or Shin checking him that severely and even killing him.

I like the idea from @Bullet that Ousen's mask will get shattered at some point.

You really think Ousen will be a villain at some point ?

I always imagined that there would be a scene where his mask get shattered, and his facade actually drops, and then he goes on a martial rampage:steef:

Tho after the Riboku debacle, I'm not sure if Ousen has any martial skills worth a damn lol

So the arc's finally over, I thought it would be dragged for a chapter longer for Mouten's escape or something, nice.

Heki's gonna be a Zhao slave for a while huh, hopefully the King of Zhao doesn't hear of him.

No one is untouchable in a war, not Riboku not Ousen. If not for Ouhon n Mouten it'd happened in just the last battle, and Ousen is to face Riboku again in just the current compaign and battles are going to get tougher ahead in the manga.

I mean could anyone have predicted Moubu getting shat down to ground by a complete new name

Ou Sen can be cornered, but the number of people capable of putting him in that position is probably fewer than a handful.

Riboku is trash. even with 6 months of preparations blud almost died to kanki who lost his army. mf mentally overrating his dick and getting trashed in front of his own army. riboku is nowhere near of kanki's level
Ri Boku is 3-1 against Qin 6GGs. Kan Ki is 0-1 against 6G/3GH tier commanders.

The only reason his ambush worked as well as it did was because Gian was taken under Ri Boku's nose and put him in the mindset the same could happen to Hika.

Kan Ki had nothing to do with the taking of Gian, that was Shin's initiative.

It's no different than Eikyuu, where the HSA taking Eikyuu led to Ko Chou moving 5K troops and opening the window of opportunity for Kan Ki.

Ou Sen had the Q3 at Shukai but he used them with specific strategy in mind. Kan Ki only asked the impossible and expected it to happen, even when he didn't ask for it at Koku You, Shin still delivered by killing Kei Sha and effectively handing the victory to Kan Ki on a silver platter.

Kan Ki got BTFO'd this arc. Lost 130K men in a day, spent 99% of this time running and hiding, watched his officer butchered and then ended up a pincushion himself. Those are just the facts.

Wow, Shin and Mouten escaped the cage like it was nothing. Lol.
The cage cost them more than half their armies.

The encirclement cost them a bit more.

Considering there were layers and layers to the encirclement, it only makes sense it was thinnest at the border.

Unless I missed something, the initial encirclement was only said to cut more than half their armies. Further conflicts never specified how much more they lost.

I just wanted the escape plot to involve greater initiative from the two prodigies, while also highlighting Riboku's competency in making such an extensive strategy. But I guess Hara had a different direction.

The cage at Gishi Plains reduced the combined 25K of the HSA+GKA to fewer than 10K including their wounded before Gian.

Besieging Gian and taking it cost the HSA undisclosed number of men.

Then the HSA and GKA fought against the Gaku Shou and SSJ armies to buy Kan Ki time.

The escape then also cost them more troops as they ran, with the Gaku Ka losing their rear guard and some of the units they were protecting from the pursuing SSJ and Kotsu Min Haku armies before Ai Sen moved to stem the bleeding.

Considering the state of the Kyou Kai and So Sui units and the comments from infantry that made it back before they did, the Gaku Shou Army took a good chunk out of them as well.

Hara has abbreviated the escape from deep in Northern Zhao to the border at Atsuyo, but I think he did adequately paint a picture of how much it cost them. I wouldn't have minded to see it in more detail, but I'm also ready for this arc to be over with.
