Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

Shin starting this war! Nice responsibility for him. He has a huge task of fighting against an army double that of his size. Shin has not handled an army this big before. During the Sanyou campaign, we were told about the challenge of suddenly commanding a huge army. Hope Shin rises up to it. Huge red flag for Akou. He’ll unfortunately be the hype tool for Shibashou I think. Glad YTW gets a bit of hype as well.

So, 1st is psychological battle.
  • Ousen Made 30k Shin try to win the Odds towards 70 Enkan. 'i dare you with my little guy!'
  • While Ousen central army 120k more than Zhao central army 100k. 'strike me, i have more on defense!'
Very suspicious of Ousen this time, Like Shiryu said. It looks like Ousen start to trust Shin as a Worthy 30K army to begin the war but yeah, maybe Ousen want to trigger Ouhon too. Well, he did try to Heki on Kyouen place. But, it might be more than that.
  • He used to counter Karin 5k Backdoor army
  • He knew how prev Taigen dividen Army, Made Kanki died
  • He knew Riboku hide information on prev war
  • He didnt want to make Kanki death pointless.
Thus, i think Ousen will Counter that. My suspicious:
- Ousen already dispatch 50K outside the 250k
- 20k (from 120k) will do something

Akou is in a delicate spot in that center. He's facing two of Shibashou's lieutenants (including the best one). We'll see what Ousen plans are and he also might decide to make Ouhon/Shin enter this battlefield at a moment's notice but then again there's also Shibashou himself, the full extent of his abilities not being known even by Riboku probably, let alone the Qin. I've been thinking Shibashou might be either specialized in employing really aggressive tactics (kinda like Great General Kyou) or be a top tier instinctual, and when he sees fit he personally leads his men glaive in hand.

Irrespective on how the battle goes and who wins, I think there is a good chance that Hara won't have Ousen's glorious Iron Man come back alive from this field.

Y’all have to consider the storytelling considerations that come with eliminating characters.

A Kou may die, but he is also Ou Sen’s #1 general, the right hand to a 6GG - if he went, he would need replacing in the story going forward, and I don’t see that replacement being either of the remaining generals, or rather arriving soon after (I had hoped Mou Ten would start this arc in Ou Sen’s retinue having replaced A Kou as First General but that was wishful thinking). If A Kou dies, there’s work involved for Hara, so the death better be worth it.

Similarly, one of Kan Saro and Ji Aga may die, but to what end? How does it serve the story to debut SBS and have him lose his best vassal and/or strongest warrior? Gaku Shou has had the most panel time of the lot and least mystique, I think he’s outta here without any work needing to be done to replace him.

SSJ has an unexplored past of otherness and vengeance. Of all of Ri Boku’s vassals, I consider him safest. Ba Nan Ji on the other hand - what’s keeping him in the story going forward, this deep into the Zhao wars? Ri Boku needed him once, but no longer. BNJ is the one vassal I am most confident will not survive this battle (I hope YTW gets the kill).

Where there is love, there is tragedy. No romance goes unpunished. We have Ri Boku and Kain, Shin and Kyou Kai, Sou’Ou and Shi Ryou, Heki and Kitari, Kou and Kyou Rei and even Bi Hei and Tou Bi.

One of these couples is marked for tragedy. I think the most obvious candidates marked are Sou’Ou and Shi Ryou - we could lose both. We could also lose Kitari just as she reaches Heki. Kou and Bi Hei have been with HSU from the start, either could be killed in action.

I stand by these predictions
A) Zhao will lose more officers
B) Yo Tan Wa Army will lose the most on the Qin side

SSJ's "unexplored past of otherness and vengeance" can be explained in one flashback before YTW cuts him in half, idk if that really makes him safe for this battle.

Kinda hope Heki dies instead of Kitari tbh, it's not like he adds much to the story rn, unless Hara wants to keep him for comedy relief. This slave plot is his last chance to have a cool send off imo. Kitari kinda seems to be built up as a YTW Jr for whenever she bites the dust in the future

@SakazOuki sorry man, calling it now:

Shibashou is going to one shot Akou.

This will be the shocking reveal of his strength to the Qin and the moment Ousen realizes the Qin are in major trouble. It’s going to mirror when Riboku killed Makou and turned the whole Shukai Qin left wing on its head.
That little chat with Ouhon doesn’t bode well
Zhao dogs are setting up another Bayou

Sure it can.

But what purpose would that serve in the story? I’m open to be convinced, but I don’t think it’ll break that way.

Ba Nan Ji has nothing tying him to the plot beyond being Ri Boku’s muscle. In that respect, he’s entirely replaceable. Same goes for Fu Tei, really, which is why I think both will die in this war.

SSJ is still very much an unknown. I’m certain we’ll learn more about his background in this battle, but it won’t be the end.

"They'll show you movements you can't even imagine. More so than the Xiongnu."
- SSJ on Yotanwa's madlads

I'm telling you, Yotanwa and her bois are different:myman:

There could well be some overpowered Baiyue tribes in Chu to contend them the crown but that's probably it (as far as China's tribe world goes).
I doubt this will ever happen but imagine Xiongnu and Baiyue tribes being assimilated into Yotawna’s army.

Undisputed most dangerous general in China at that point lol.

I think Qin will be victorious but suffer immense casualties here but, do you guys think this is the last major battle and Hara will kill off the majority of Zhao generals or is he gonna keep some of them around for a final battle and siege at Kantan?
