People on this forum really love overreacting. It's like everyone ignored the part that says Shiryou got mortally wounded and is also dying.
With that said, I'm curious if Hara intended to kill Jiaga like this when he introduced the character or was it something he decided on the fly to give Shiryou a hype death.

Chapter title: The wolf blood bond (meaning the relationship between Kansaro and Gyaga). Both Kansaro and Gyaga on the cover show each one of them with a wolf next to him on one of the hillsides. The chapter begins with Kansaro and Gyaga as boys competing to harvest heads, and over the days and years the relationship between them strengthens. More and more and the flash ends, then we continue from the end of the last chapter and we see Shiryu's blow that pierced Giaga's neck, but it turns out that Giaga stopped the sword's penetration with his left hand, but after the sword penetrated and pierced his arm just as it pierced his neck, Giaga regains his composure and delivers a strong and dangerous blow to Shiryu's chest area with his mace, and as a result, her armor is broken, causing her to bleed.
