The Hi Shin Unit is returning to the capital as I said in the previous spoilers.
The Hi Shin Unit is very well received, as heroes, after its many victories. Women rushing to everyone's feet. Karyo Ten is even proposed to by a child.
We see Shin's house (his old and new). He had it built 1 year ago, by giving money to the carpenters of Denyuu. And when he arrives in front of his old shack, he thinks at first that it's a wood maintenance job they did on it when in fact with the spun money they were able to build a huge thing for him.
They gather around a banquet in Shin's new house, with all the families of the unit's soldiers. Toubi-chan's coming back, Bihei is going crazy with her around.
Garo announces that in order to become a great general, one must have the required rank. No slave has ever become a general before. This is also a problem for many other commanders of 5000 men who are never promoted beyond that rank (even though they have the level), they remain stuck at that level all their lives.
Sei, Shin, Shoubunkun and Karyo Ten meet again 3 days later. Sei tells him that there's a problem to make him a general. Shin gets angry. The problem is his name. There's no last name, and it's mandatory to become a general. Sei suggests that Shin choose a last name, and tells him to think carefully. But Shin really doesn't know what to choose.
Sei tells him that when Hyou came to the palace as an understudy, he also had trouble finding a last name for him. Hyou would have liked to discuss it with Shin and he doesn't know either. As a result, Hyou asks Sei what he regularly eats as fruit, and Sei replies with a plum. Hyou decides to choose "Ri" (with the plum Kanji in Japanese). He will be Ri Hyou!
After this story, Shin decides to choose the same name as his childhood friend, by calling himself Ri Shin. This was the beginning of the birth of a name that will be known for its glory. Today, 2000 years later, the name Ri/Li/Lee (same) is the most widespread in China.

This is....really strange.
We know the irl Shin was related to the irl Riboku by blood. This isn’t disputed by historical sources, and it seemed like Hara was building up the eventual familial reveal between he and Riboku. But Shin just chose this name so randomly? I wonder where Hara is going with this..maybe he doesn’t want Shin to adopt the name of an enemy like that? Still, it’s awfully convenient that Shin just so happened to pick his exact familial name.
