Shin landed a hit amped by Ouki and Duke chakra
Tou was going toe toe for a while with Yoku
Coalition Shin could never do that with Houken
Houken has absolutely embarrassed guys that i have above someone like Ranbihaku who Tou didn't get an advantage against
Tou is a tough fight but Houken simply looks much more overwhelming
Houken was completely superior to Ouki as a fighter. Better strength, better speed, better technique. Ouki would have won anyway because thatβs what weight is.
Moubu and Kanmei not only have weight but superior brute strength to Ouki. And their martial talent was praised by Jinsou too.
Posting a single panel of Houken knocking away Ouki doesn't do favors for you. I never said he was weak.
The reality is that your weight gets boosted even further from close relations with fallen comrads, especially when facing the man responsible, like we saw with Shin and Ouki.
Tou facing off against Houken is a completely different animal.

Yep. You're right. But Houken grew in strength since Bayou and then the question remains how does Ouki fair against Kanmei and Moubu. I think Ouki's weight is way superior to theirs and I also think he's way more skilled as a warrior than Moubu and Kanmei.

So the argument here is basically an unknown amount of weight Tou is supposed to get when up against Houken due to his connections to Ouki ?
Yeah I think using feats we've already seen is the safer bet rn as Tou will never fight an enemy of Ouki like Houken and the feats between the two are night and day.

Hmmm idk, Iβm not going to run through Kanmei again but the dude had scored over a hundred undefeated victories for Chu including one against Oukiβs peer, Kanmeiβs weight was among the most legit weight weβve seen in the manga. And Moubu beat that guy anyway. Lol
I think 1v1 Moubu and Kanmei high diff Ouki.
I want to say Shukai Houken was Houken at his pinnacle but thereβs that ugly loss to Shin hanging over his head lol. Iβd say itβs up in the air but frankly Iβd favor Kanmei and Moubu above him. I donβt think Shin was the only person in China who couldβve killed Houken.

I would give Moubu/Kanmei the edge over Ouki purely in a duel but this manga hasn't yet introduced a character who would need less than extreme diff to beat Ouki. His portrayal there is absolutely nuts.

I think weight will be used to keep Ouki's PL relevant even at EOS. I don't think even Qin 6 Shin will be superior to Ouki until directly stated. I think Shin vs Renpa will serve for that. Renpa getting back his fire for Shin to slay him at around Prime strength.
He doesn't get low diffed. I don't believe that but martially I have Tou at Duke Hyou level. Enough to give Ouki a run for his money but clearly below Houken.

Ouki is like the Shanks of Kingdom, if Shanks were actually written well and wasnβt dogshit. Ouki will always be near the top strengthwise, like you said even at EOS heβll be relevant. I think as we learn more about Qi weβll learn more about Ouki too since those are probably his forefathers lol.
Also this may sound like ridiculous cope but Houken is built different when not up against Ouki cum. The man was a cold blooded monster against Gekishin and Duke Hyou.
In Shukai he already lost his mind before entering the battlefield being in constant pain due to Ouki complex.
He might have even been weakened because of his mental state lol. Conflicted argument is back.
