Who could even put a fight against Shin if we take "he beat Houken while tired after weeks of battle" realistically?
Very few, and that's appropriate at this point. Shin is in his physical prime and stands on the precipes of achieving his lifelong dream of becoming a Great General of the Heavens.

Shin has all the feats and markings of a martial beast, he always has. We are +815 chapters in. Hara should let it rip.

Moubu, Man'u, Gaimou, Renpa, people like that.

Hakuowatever should be a minor speed bump for Shin, at most.
I want a repeat of Gaku'Ei.

Including panels of terrified Han soldiers.

I’ll say it again, Tou is the my favorite of the new Qin 6. From “I’ll personally cut down any Qin 6 who rebels” to “I’ll kill the King of Qin myself if I don’t like how he treats Shintei” Hara is just the fucking goat man. He took the most loyal Qin 6 and even made him threaten rebellion

Admittedly this feels like an excuse not to have a final siege or some post battle action. Hara is really speedrunning through the story at this point.

As long as the current battle is not rushed, I could be ok with it.
We need to see some good feats from Tou and Shin, especially the latter who has been a bit disappointing for a while now.

Nah if anything, this Han arc has been long and drawn out. We spent like 10 chapters with just the non-action in Nanyou, because that stuff better communicates the themes of this manga better than a weird unnecessary battle with Han.

People weirdly criticizing Hara for committing to the theme of unification through peace rather than an overly bloody battle when Hara stressed that this would make unification impossible.

Nah, if Han could have been defeated through battle, they wouldn’t have lasted for centuries during the warring states era. The only way for Qin to beat them is for them to surrender, and Tou recognizing that just goes to show that this man really does have zero weaknesses lmfao.

If Qin defeats Han through a mixture of diplomacy, intrigue and subterfuge then they are also defeating Han in its strongest areas rather than in its weakest (i.e. head on military engagements).

Idk, if Qin defeats Han because Tou persuades Nei to effectively surrender her own state, it’s still unclear Qin could’ve ever beat Han in any sense of warfare under these circumstances lol.
