Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

I'm not like Rumbles who thinks Shin beats Gaimou and Man'U, but he really did beat the living crap out of Houken, missing 2 fingers doesn't change much. Not only that, Shin held his own against Gaimou 400 chapters ago, took a few good shots at Gyou'Un, one shot Gakuei etc
Since then he's been jobbing left and right, first to JKR and now this piss poor display this chapter and the previous one
Fuck it, Sanyou Shin is more impressive martially than post Houken Shin, maybe the Ouki haki dissipated after killing him
The only explanation is Shin lost some of his power coming back from death

Missing two fingers is a solid nerf. You can’t swing your weapon as hard without all ten of your fingers gripping it. Especially the pinky finger which is quite important when wielding melee weapons.

And that wasn’t even Houken’s only nerf, he had also been stabbed through the arm, sliced 3-4 times across the torso, and had a leg wound. Houken was very solidly nerfed before Shin ever came into contact with him.

I love how you forgot about RyuuFu who Shin quite literally negged (he was wounded by arrows but still).

But anyway Shin has fought nothing but strong opponents since that time lol. Gakuhaku Kou, Jyoukaryuu, Hakuokoku and Yoko Yoko are just far stronger than this fandom gives them credit for.

That very same nerfed Houken would still walk into Rakuakan's camp solo and slaughter every Han cockroach in a nightfall

I never got his name because he's actual fodder not worth mentioning lol

I would take it better if Shin at least wasn't nerfed when he fought Houken

Kingdom wasn't the same since then, followed by Kyokai stupid shit to take it an extra mile

I think an analysis on HKK's strength would be interesting. Unlike with Yoko Yoko we've not been given a sort of measuring stick.

His physical strength, clashing evenly-ish with Shin and his position as vice-commander are notable feats.

Maybe Rinbukun level? 🤔
He seems like Garyuu ish level to me. I don’t think we’ve seen Hakuokoku’s full strength but Garyuu have Shin a seriously underrated thrashing that Shin felt the next day. Lol

Yeah i'm just gonna go with the assumption that Shin got nerfed and lost half his power when he came back from death otherwise i'm not gonna enjoy any upcoming duels.
Buddha also was only Rinko level and Shin is gonna make his way back up again until he goes back to his shukai strength.

Haku is at least at Akou or HK levels.

Let's not forget that Chougaryuu was able to do decent damages aswell, this what i less spected from a guy who is more stronger.

Dawg, Yoko Yoko got the better of him in the opening clash but Shin won the first exchange and didn't look close to maxing out.

Yoko Yoko's subordinates didn't respect the 1v1 so Shin ended up having to deal with Yoko, Haku'Ou and their respective elites ON FOOT.

He put up a good fight before reinforcements arrived but he still got injured pretty badly.

I call bullshit on the circumstances of how it happened, i.e. wtf is the point in giving Shin his personal 5K unit if they're already going to be a nonfactor, but that aside, it makes perfect sense for Shin to be diminished at the moment.

I'd probably have more of an issue with it if not for Hara leveraging the moment into giving the HSU goons their time to shine. Execution leaves more to desire, but I'm pleased with the overall result.
