Sooner or later you guys are going to understand why Moubu is the Hakuki of the middle gen Qin 6 lol. Especially at EOS.
Yep, this is always how Hara introduced his battles. Going all the way back to Dakan where Hara gave us the roadmap for the kinds of battles he intends to draw. Qin won Dakan why? Because martial power and the strength of ambition overcame far superior tactics and strategy. Kyuugen utterly exterminated the Qin left wing, to the point where only a few dozen men remained, and those few dozen men dragged themselves wounded, sweating and bleeding up that hill, peppered by arrow fire and against a numerically superior force, and captured that hill through sheer force of will.
Those are the kinds of battles Hara wants to draw. Superior strategy and tactics don’t win battles, force of will, endurance, and martial prowess win battles. For this manga at least. And this is exactly the type of General Hara is turning Shin into. Coincidence? Absolutely not.
So when Hara drew the calculating master strategist Ousen standing directly across the way from the 8 foot tall gigalad Shibashou, that was the moment where Qin lost. Before a single drop of blood was spilt lol.
This obviously doesn’t mean martial power will always trump strategy but in this circumstance, yeah Ousen was screwed. Only Shin, Ouhon, or a mountain fortress could’ve saved him.
