Is Bleach Better than Kingdom?

If this happen I'll consider taking a break. @MarineHQ
Tou retiring seems pretty natural at this point.

Becoming a governer in Han to maintain order seems like the most reasonable thing, especially considering the difficulty of integrating an entire state into another, maybe also allow Shin to inherit some of his soldiers.

It looks like Hara wants to conclude each of the current 6 GG's character arc (Kanki dying, Tou retiring etc.) while gradually easing the Qin trio into that position.

While I agree that Kingdom post-Eikyuu hasn't been great, I don't really see the issue with this.

Hara built 900 chapters on the greatness of the generals ouki kanki mogo dukehyo and tou
And now only two remaining ousen and ytw
While the new gen can not even replace ouki or kanki or tou as character .

This why kingdom has already peaked and its peak ended with kanki death.
.....
The next wars are focused on new gen who are not intersting at all except for sometimes.
The issue is that the new gen seem to have stop growing. That or Hara isn't doing a good job at portraying their growth.

I'm still under the impression that they are barely above their Shukai plains versions.

Nah 5 years is good and great
Part of why wzi arc was bad for is how long it was so hara make more mistakes.
...
1 year for Zhao and rrbk end
1 year for wei
2 years for chu
1 year for for the rest .
...
It can done greatly but hara need to plan for it before.
....
Hara said 20 volumes then it will be at 96
Lets say he reach 100 volumes
Each volume contain 11 chapters.

It means 264 chapters remaining.

1100 chapters.

The thing is Hara has said more than once he doesn't want to stop at the end of unification (unless he gave up on that seeing how much this is taking him) He wants to get to the Chu-Han Contention and the rise of the Han Dynasty, which would be like 20 in-universe years after the Unification is done. Idk how he plans to get there in his lifetime tho

Kingdom is already over 800 chapters in, though.

How far along are we in the main story at this point from the beginning of Shin's journey up to the eventual Unification, which should take place an arc or two after the Chu superstate arc?

Even One Piece, which is at 1155 chapters right now, is predicted to end 3 years from now, if not sooner, which should be around 150 chapters at most.

Tbf Hara isn't Oda. I think 5 years is possible. Maybe 1 or 2 more but he did pack up Han's conquest in less than a year.
It will be the same for 3 other states, Yan, Qi and Wei.
For Zhao, he focused a long time already and RBK win streak is coming to an end. So another year and a half.
For Chu, let's go with 2 years.

All in all, that's more or less 5 years.

I was pretty sure, he wouldn’t go for some stuff that happened in real history. Shin and Sei will remain friends and Sei won't turn into a tyran for example.

Even if he didn't turn to tyrant
He has to die so I would like to see qin crumble
But anyway eve han crumbled after 400 years so i don't see point in continuing adter unification. Let it end there hara
And i f he want to draw it it can sequel.

Could see the main story ending when the Unification is done and then a mini-arc as an epilogue recapping what happened after it (history)tho it'd feel like such a bummer ending seeing how quickly everything collapsed.
Having a hopeful "We finally did it, our country is unified, now there will be peace" main ending directly followed by "Ten years later, Sei killed himself by drinking poison because someone told him it would make him immortal, the country split in multiple states again" would be the funniest slap in the face
