Some people don't seem to grasp that if Hamas did that to any other country, there would be actual genocide. (And not just overinflated figures like the ones Hamas is releasing).

America literally dropped a nuclear bomb on Japan, because Japan killed 60 people in Pearl Harbour. Hamas killed >1,000, and took hundreds of hostages.

Their secular allies should give a comment any moment now about the military actions of Israel being a way to "fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah", right?

"actual genocide"
Sorry if they didn't kill enough Palestinians for YOU to consider it a genocide and bless them

I think you should read about this thing called WW2 if you want to see actual genocide. Countries would lose 2-3 million people in 1 single battle.

I'm sorry that Palestinians don't have a proper state, and they should, but history has shown that what the Israeli government is doing after the Hamas attack is nothing compared to every country out there has done.

First of all, you clearly do not know what constitutes genocide.

genocide -the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group

It's not a case of "umm, actually they needed to kill 500,000 more in order to be placed on the genocide list"

And the only battles from WW2 with million plus casualties were actually sieges, where, get this, civilians would make up the bulk of the casualites

What you described is literally what Hamas is doing, and not Israel. Hamas was killing for the sake of killing. Israel is actually targeting the people that committed the attack.

My point is if Israel is considered a "genocidal regime" then so is every single country in history, including every Arabic country. History didn't start yesterday.

The people in charge in Israel literally stated : We don't care for precision, we care for damage

https://www.unicef.org/press-releases/child-casualties-gaza-growing-stain-our-collective-conscience

And these are the results of them "targeting people that committed the attack".
Every one of those civilians (especially the kids) were either secret Hamas ops or hiding a Hamas guy behind their backs?
Totally not planned to thin out the population, with the forced expulsions from their homes from the north of the strip down to the south?

Have you ever gave a thought that MAYBE (or most likely) the Hamas that did the terror in 7th October lost their family to the Zionist regime years prior? And there is no overestimation of the victims, there have been official reports as well as videos being shared online depicting devastating loss on the palestinian side, especially children.

Zionists have been opressing Palestinians even before Hamas has "adequate" weaponry. Stop being ignorant fools

Maybe the one's in charge of the ethnic cleansing in 1948 had died, but most of them that were in charge in 2000s are most likely still in power in Zionists regime. So yes, Israel is still a genocidal regime

It's always the powerscaler retards smh

Hate admitting it, but even though I understand Israeli civilian's anger, and I fully believe the October 7th attacks should be classified as a terror attack rather than "freedom fighting," the Israeli government portray themselves as cartoon villains "No innocent civilians," and "we are the people of the light, they are the people of the dark," what the fuck man. Just another reason for me to support the Israeli civilians but hate their government.

Again Genocide is a contentious word. For example, a lot of historians don't consider the Holodomor a genocide despite hundreds of thousands dying due to USSR mismanagement and negligence because the intent is not there

Unless we find a smoking gun for Israel, we really can't be sure is a genocide because there is no sign of them intending to kill every single Palestinian. Ironically, @sanjikun is right in saying Hamas does intend to genocide because we have seen their orders and charter.

That was a real goofy speech, he talked like this is some Hannukah 2.0 miracle
it sounds like even in these time he's playing politics to his base :seriously:
Get that cryptofascist flag F*** out of Luffy's hand if you don't want me to start taking a closer look to your desinformation and genocidal apologism !!!!! One Piece is about fighting against oppression, you are spitting to Oda's face.

And btw, genocide is contentious only to genocide deniers

Thousands of bombs hitting residential areas, hospitals, mosques etc is nothing but a planned activity.
Either Hamas has 5 million troops hiding in every home, Israel doesn't have the info they claim they do, OR they are haphazardly firing bombs because "there are no civilians in Gaza" and "they are fighting forces of darkness and evil" to bring about "the prophecy of Isaiah" (all direct quotes from Israel officials)

Wait? You’re calling the history field genocide deniers? Genocide being contentious is not even a controversial take, a lot of arguments arise on the meaning of this word and what constitutes a genocide or not

Have you tried googling anything?
checking the wikipedia page of the war? (and the actual sources in citations because wikipedia can sometimes be wrong?)
here are the full pics from last night arrest: https://idfanc.activetrail.biz/ANC25102023.02145

Reactions in the West Bank
Initially, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas asserted the Palestinians' right to self-defense against the "terror of settlers and occupation troops"[629] and condemned the orders by Israel for residents to evacuate north Gaza, labeling it a "second Nakba".[630] Later, Abbas denounced Hamas's actions, rejected the killing of civilians on both sides, and stated that Hamas did not represent the Palestinians.[631]

Following the attack, celebrations occurred in Ramallah. Neighborhood watches were established in 50 locations amid fears of reprisals by Israeli settlers, while a general strike was called for 8 October.[120] Seven Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli forces on 7 October,[632] while 126 others were injured.[120] Clashes on 8 October killed six more Palestinians.[166] As of 19 October, Al Jazeera noted that 76 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank and Jerusalem, eight of them by armed Israeli settlers;[633] the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 61 people have been killed and 1,250 injured in the West Bank.[634] The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that 850 Palestinians, including lawmakers, prominent figures, journalists, and former detainees have been arrested by Israeli authorities since the start of the war.[305]

There's a far cry between "history field" and "some historians".
History as a field is imprecise anyway, and there are point of contention over less important topics than Genocide. The national and other bias of historians notwithstanding.
And yes, I do call everyone that denies genocide a genocide denier - be it the Holodomor, Holocaust, Bosnian genocide, Rwandan genocide...

As for your link, I concede, I was not aware of those documents. I was refering to the clear fake the president (?) Of Israel showed which had text in English on it as if they needed English translations for Arabic speakers.
However, why would fighters carry printed out Top Secret orders in their pockets is questionable to me and makes me doubt the veracity of the source.
