Reactions in the West Bank
Initially, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas asserted the Palestinians' right to self-defense against the "terror of settlers and occupation troops"[629] and condemned the orders by Israel for residents to evacuate north Gaza, labeling it a "second Nakba".[630] Later, Abbas denounced Hamas's actions, rejected the killing of civilians on both sides, and stated that Hamas did not represent the Palestinians.[631]

Following the attack, celebrations occurred in Ramallah. Neighborhood watches were established in 50 locations amid fears of reprisals by Israeli settlers, while a general strike was called for 8 October.[120] Seven Palestinians were killed in clashes with Israeli forces on 7 October,[632] while 126 others were injured.[120] Clashes on 8 October killed six more Palestinians.[166] As of 19 October, Al Jazeera noted that 76 Palestinians were killed in the West Bank and Jerusalem, eight of them by armed Israeli settlers;[633] the Palestinian Ministry of Health said that 61 people have been killed and 1,250 injured in the West Bank.[634] The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that 850 Palestinians, including lawmakers, prominent figures, journalists, and former detainees have been arrested by Israeli authorities since the start of the war.[305]

Wait? You’re calling the history field genocide deniers? Genocide being contentious is not even a controversial take, a lot of arguments arise on the meaning of this word and what constitutes a genocide or not
There's a far cry between "history field" and "some historians".
History as a field is imprecise anyway, and there are point of contention over less important topics than Genocide. The national and other bias of historians notwithstanding.
And yes, I do call everyone that denies genocide a genocide denier - be it the Holodomor, Holocaust, Bosnian genocide, Rwandan genocide...

As for your link, I concede, I was not aware of those documents. I was refering to the clear fake the president (?) Of Israel showed which had text in English on it as if they needed English translations for Arabic speakers.
However, why would fighters carry printed out Top Secret orders in their pockets is questionable to me and makes me doubt the veracity of the source.

No, it was always pistols anyways from what I know.
The gun laws changed already, but it's nothing big (so not a lot of potential gun owners added)
What changed is that anyone with a "Combatant ID" can now apply for a gun license. (So any one who was a combat soldier in the army)
Before it was only based on location IIRC (so people who lived next to arab villages/borders)
this doesn't affect anyone now, as the whole gun bureaucracy can't deal with all the new requests for gun licenses

take your meds :beckmoji:
Such a shame.I think they should adopt a similar militia/minute man strategy that the US uses.Japan decided not to invade them in WW2 because they had a shit ton of people armed. Civilian gun ownership deters even wars from happening.

What's gonna the genocide deniers say when another war crime is denounced by a third party non-affiliated with neither government?

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/n...eli-attacks-wipe-out-entire-families-in-gaza/

And another one!

Look at this According to Amnesty International’s findings there were no military objectives in the house or its immediate vicinity, this indicates that this may be a direct attack on civilians or on a civilian object which is prohibited and a war crime.

Why would they bomb civilians?

We all know the answer to that question. It's just a matter of if you want to be intellectually honest or not.

I think i have the right to answer insults in the same proportion,no?
How is he insulting you? By calling you a gun nut? It's like calling me a wine nut cause I like wine.

There's a difference between a firearm owner and gun nut.

You're basing this on Orwellion level hysteria that one day the government will come and take every single freedom away with the basis guns will help defend our rights/lives in this scenario, thus fitting the epithet.
The issue is that this is a fantasy scenario. This is the last danger that should be on your mind - violent, barbaric humans that are detrimental to society are far more of a pressing issue.
Owning guns doesn't change sick or violent people. It does not protect school children from turning into a lifeless sack of meat or a parent's grief. It does not change the fact that these circumstances are not predictable and symptoms of violent, dark thoughts are overlooked.

Charles J Whitman had a brain tumor. It will never change the fact, regardless of his condition, that people's lives were lost. Some were saved. Doesn't mean it balances out the deaths that occured.

If it makes you feel less attacked, you fit the gun enthusiast descriptor.

I still disagree on this tireless take.
